Question about 2000 Harley Davidson FLHTCUI Electra Glide Ultra Classic
To change the fork oil, you can remove the drain plug on the lower slider and by "pumping" the front end. Then, you can add the correct measured amount of oil in from the top of the tube. To get to the top of the top tube, you will have to remove everything you need to get out of the way in order to remove the headlight nachelle. Then remove the top cap and pour in the correct amount of oil.
As an alternative, I've heard that once you drain the forks, you can refill the forks from the same drain hole by using a syringe that will hold the correct amount of oil and injecting into the hole very much like filling the foot of an outboard motor. I've never done this but I can see how this just might work.
