Is it glass or lexon/plastic? Plastic can be polished with toothpaste or lens compound. If it's glass does it appear inside? If so you may need to pull the bulb (be ever so careful not to touch the bulb, oil from your fingers will burn it out) And clean it with alcohol. Good luck to you.

Replaced bulb in dipped beam. Still not working. What is the fuse code for dipped beam

May not be the bulb or fuse..could be the switch... dipped beams illuminate via voltage from the turn signal...Check your wiring and sockets and grounding . Dipped beams are usually near the bottom front fascia of the car . If there is not a shield there, any debris can cause corrosion, or chafing of wires and connections.

Low beams go off when high beams are on

what car, what year,? what model (wrangler?) im clueless
bulbs get weak with age
the glass in bulb (looks like silver paint)
this is normal for extreme usage.
replace the bulbs if dim. both.
if the car has covers in front of bulbs (not my 02 wrangler)
but newer cars have this crappy plastic in front,
it can be cloudy, there is a nice kit that fixes it (labor) at walfart. ask.

dim lites?
1 dim bulbs
2 cloudy lenses.
3: bad wire, bad grounds and bad connectors to lamps.
4: wiring hacked by kids wanting HID bs.
5: wrong bulbs, kids again.
6: corroded fuses, (12v at lamp do you have)?
7: bad combo switch or its ground is bad.

if you have 12volts across the dim lamp, you can skip 3 to 7 fails.

see your FSM for how they work. and wiring.
does your car have DRL? daylight running light option or in CANADA?
that be more heart ache.
and my jeep the highs and lows are never on at the same time.
the combo switch selects one or the other.
what it does in flash mode, not sure. need car year. and name.

Dipped headlights

Did you check if one of the bulb elements are burned out?

The single head light has two elements (high beam and low beam).
Usually, you ride with the low beam on all the time, so it's the first to burn out, leaving the high beam still working.

If the tail light/brake light is a single bulb, same thing.

Low beams don't work

Sounds like a loose connection at the bulbs. Recheck them and try again. Also, I have seen bad bulbs from the parts store, so inspect the filaments on each to ensure they are good. Remember, dno't touch the glass!
