Battery dead need to remove or replace..... first i have to get to it

First remove the seat...then the grab rail...then remove the right seat panel...that's 1 screw under the right rear, 1 under the side of the grab rail, 1 on top under the seat and 1 near the airbox side covers.
Then remove the battery retainer bracket...that's got 1 bolt on the left holding it in, then swing it out and unhook it on the right.
Next remove the rectangular rubber bung in the plastic cover at the rear of the fuel tank under the seat revealing the + terminal of the battery. Disconnect this and the - terminal and the battery slides out.

How do i get the carbs off a gsx 750es

remove the seat, gas tank, airbox, and side covers.
loosen the throttle cable free play at the adjuster, located by the handlebars.
Loosen the intake boot clamps on carb side.Leave the intakes on the engine.
Loosen the airbox boot clamps at the carbs. remove those boots with the airbox if you can.

Disconnect the fuel line from the carb.

Now pull up on the back of the carbs and down on the front until the carbs slip out of the intake boots.
Now you can use a 10 mm wrench to disconnect the throttle cables from the carb.
Use a philips screwdriver and loosen the choke cable from its brace, and remove the choke cable from the crarb.

Now slide out the left side of the motor and they are out.

A rat got up into my motorcycle and chewed through the fuel line. I removed tank I cant figure out how to remove the housing around the carborater. What should I do?

There is a few 10 mm bolts on the bottom left side of the airbox that you must remove first - then proceed to the carb cover - open it and remove the bolts that hold the carb directly to the airbox - it should slide out to the passenger side of the bike if you remove the one vent hose from the airbox.

Thinking of buying 1985 ZL900 eliminator...with 50K miles 1. saw light rust inside the tank. is this a big problem? how can I clean it out ? 2. bike starts up and runs fine. then, stalls after driven...

Rust in the tank not a big problem, there is a product called Kreem you can buy the kit comes with bottle of rust remover and bottle of dryer and a bottle of internal sealer/coating.

How to remove gas tank

first of this years models petcock is on the right hand side of the bike built into the side cover so first pull off the side cover making sure not to break any of the tabs unbolt the petcock making sure it's in the off position, now what i do if i have gas in the tank is add a long hose where the gas filter is an drain it into an apropriate container(you must drain the tank as if you don't when you remove the main gas line under the seat you'll have a gas mess on your hands)after fully draining the tank now take the bpassenger seat off by removing the tool box an the 2 10 mill bolts, after that remove the driver seat also 2 10 mil bolts, after that you'll see there's 2 gas lines a smaller 1 to the right and a larger 1 in the center, what i do is remove the clamps from the reserve tank that they feed, now take the center bolt off the tank and then the 2 side bolts up front and slide the tank up an forward being careful not to break the lines, while the tank is off inspect alllines an replace if they look dry rotted or cracked hope this has helped you out John a 1985 shadow owner himself

How much of the Suzuki C90 Boulevard do I have to disassemble to change the spark plugs?

Take the tank sides off and then the chrome covers over the spark plugs. The genuine spark plug tool that came with your bike works well to remove the plugs.

There is no need to remove the seat, instrument cluster or airbox.

1. Undo the two screws for the fuel tank (steering side, not seat side)
2. Lift tank, unplug all attachments to airbox.
3. Loosen screws on the left and right of airbox to loosen from the carbs and remove air filter box.
3. You should see four black 'things' with wires attached at the top of the engine - unplug wires and pull the black plugs out.
4. If possible, use compressed air to clean out the holes before attempting spark removal. Sand can sometimes get in there.
4. Insert spark plug socket in the holes to remove and replace.
