Question about 2000 kawasaki ZX-12R
Follow the positive battery cable to the solenoid. Now jump the battery cable to the starter cable. If the starter works you need a new solenoid. If the starter does not work, try holding the starter button while tapping on the starer with a plastic hammer. If the starter works now you need new starter brushes. If you open up the starter and the coils are burnt or the armature is shorted replace the assembly.
