1994 Honda Magna. I stoped for fuel, shut the bike off, when I turned the key on the lights on the gauges blinked and than nothing. I get no lights at all, no power. I have a good battery, power to both sides of the main 30 amp fuse, other fuses are good, I have checked the key and it is good, I have 12 volts to the connector leading to the key. Your thoughts

Take your battery out and have it load tested. It is a classic case of switching the bike on, the battery cracks between the cells( the lights flash on and off). All the cells read full charge, an OHM meter shows 12 volts, but there is no power going past the crack in the battery plates. You can jump the bike from another battery, if it quits when you disconnect the cables you know you have a bad battery.
