From what I have read, the Uni-Trak rear suspension system of the Kawasaki 800 has problems of freezing up and ripping up bushings because it is down on the bottom of the bike, where all the water and stuff gets thrown up at it.
Bushings must be frequently replaced or greased so that they do not seize up.
But I also believe the rear spring is adjustable, and may have just slipped out of position.

If you try to adjust the monoshock spring, and this does not improve, then you must replace the monoshock to the tume of $500 or so. A friend has just gone through this on an 800 Drifter.

My first guess would be a bad tire. You could have the tires rotated front to back to see if the problem stops.

Take off seat

Remove the bolt behind the backseat on top of the fender and slightly hit the seat backwards towards the rear tire, it should come right off. The cliphooks are pointing downwards and towards the front tire.

What's your problem?Toyota Prado Grande 2004. Hissing sound at the rear air suspension and it drops (the body). Does not happen all the time. Bounces a lot quite often noticibly on a hot day, does

If you have Air suspension this can happen. The noise you hear like from an engine is actually the airpump trying to keep up.

The hissing is air escaping and the bouncing is an indication that the suspension is not fully inflated.

There are individual bleed valves so the system can be leveled by itself. The valve on one suspension unit may be leaking. Sometimes soapy water sprayed while the part is working and again while shut off will show a leak.

Some Makes have a diagnostic plug which a scanner can read to find the problem. Often a car is jacked or lifted on a rack and someone did not turn off the Air system and knocked it out of alignment.

I hope my solution is helpful and enables you to diagnose the problem now.

1999 yamaha Virago 1100 - a couple of things. My signal lights all stay on. Just happened suddenly last night. Is it a fuse or a groung wire?? Also, I got a new front there is a noticeable...

Check harness connectors to rear signals...should be under the seat on top of fender on most bikes...may be affecting flasher load so it doesn't cycle properly.
Also check the flasher relay itself for a loose or dirty connector.

I have a 1996 Toyota Camry with 17' aftermarket wheels and tires on it. When i have people ride in the back seat my fenders rub my tires really bad. Do you think i need to change my struts, if not then how...

If anything, you need better rear springs. Springs support the suspension not the struts. Struts just keep ride smooth and stable. Get bigger/heavier duty rear springs.

At around 60 mph, wheel bounce can develop on road, seems to be trigered by a ruff road patch

could be a broken belt in the tire move the tirew to the back if it still happens then I would say it;s in the suspension if the bounce moves to the back then it;s the tire

Do you have the front and rear suspension settings for a c1 model 1998 kawasaki zx9r i'm 6 foot and 15 stone if that helps..

To set up your suspension correctly you need only adjust the front and back suspension to drop at the same time when you bounce on the seat ( fully loaded if touring or two up). Set the back hard or soft, your preference. Then adjust the fork pressure to the match the back. (or adjust the back to match the front if you do not have air forks) So when all the weight of the bike goes into a corner the front and back drop together. This will help prevent the front or back washing out first on a corner.

1997 blazer im gonna put 20inch low profile rims and tires on it do i have to do anything to the blazer because of bigger rims and tires

Nope, just make sure your back space is 6" of it's 4wd and your wheel circumference is not larger then 29" and the tire with is no wider then 10" or your going to have tire fender contacts when then the suspension drops over pumps.

Thank you for using fixya and good luck
