Your tool kit has a tool and a tool extension. The tool has a curved end with a tooth on it. You place the tooth in the hole on the shock and rotate the barrel of the shock. You are moving a pin up one of five little hills or down one of five hills. This increases or decreases spring tension on the shock. Try to set both shocks in the same spot. if you have air forks on the front. Set the air pressure in the front so when you bounce on the seat both the front and back suspension drop together. This will make for safer hard cornering. If the front is softer it will wash out first . If the back is softer it will wash out first. Ideally you want the front and back to drop together.

Use the hook tool in the tool kit . Place it in the hole on the shock and spin the body. Usually there are 5 different tension settings. After you decide on hard or soft , set your fork pressure so when you bounce on the seat the front and back suspension drop together.

How to change rear tire on 2004 750 honda shadow aero? Do i need to pull the final Drive?

You do not have to remove the final drive , the wheel is resting on a spline shaft. Center stand the motorcycle or lift the rear wheel, remove the axle bolt, knock out the spacer, and slide the brake panel out of the way. Now the wheel is resting only on a splined shaft. Grab the wheel and gently slide it away from the final drive ( off the splined shaft ) and roll it out the back of the wheel well. When replacing the wheel be sure to get some MOLY60 paste from the Honda dealer and grease the spline before putting the wheel back on.

I would like to know how to lower my honda shadow aero 1100

When lowering bikes, we usually lessen or cut the shock absorbers (front and back).

Accessory places have lowering blocks, they are just a small metal accessory that move the bottom of the rear shocks to the rear and down, I think you get 1.5 inches from them. Then you need to cut or get shorter springs in the front, either will probably make the ride stiffer in the front.
