Without getting too specific, there is/was a recall on this exact problem. The bike would just cut off... completely shut down, no power even if you were flying down the highway at 70 mph. Check recall list with HD for more info.

My 1999 mazda 323 1.4 cuts out at around 3000 revs and when put revs up its fine

It could be the starter motor cutting out at that point before the main motor comes on. When it is fine listen for two motors going at the same time. If that is happening the starter motor has not cut out when it should, and the car needs a mechanic, or auto electrician to fix it.

Where is the heater motor

You can get to it from the engine compartment, but you have to cut the cover off. There is an indented line showing where to cut. See picture below.

  1. For the 3.1L engine, remove the alternator belt, then remove the alternator and position aside.
  2. For the 2.5L and 3.3L engines, remove the power steering pressure hose from the power steering pump.
  3. For the 3.0L engine, remove the serpentine belt.
  4. For the 3.0L and 3.3L engines, remove the retaining bolts from the power steering pump bracket, then set the pump aside.
  5. Detach the blower electrical connector, then, if accessible, remove the cooling tube.
When cutting the blower motor cover, make the cut just the thickness of the cover, which is1/ 8 inch (2mm) thick. Cutting deeper than that may damage the cooling tube.

For 1992-98 vehicles, partially cut the blower motor case cover, as shown on the cover. Cutting completely around the cover is NOT required. Swing the cut potion of the cover down.

  1. If previously accessible, disconnect the cooling tube.
  2. Unfasten the attaching screws/bolts and remove the blower motor from the case.
  1. If necessary, remove the fan from the blower motor.
  2. The installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.
  3. If the case was cut during removal, secure the cover using the three retaining clips. Tighten the blower motor screws to 44 inch lbs. (5 Nm).
  4. Connect the negative battery cable, then start the engine and check the blower motor for proper operation.

Simpson 175 washing machine: spin cycle noisy and motor cuts out after short spin. Bowl feels stiff

Hi just read your posting. Now from the information on your posting the machine is noisy on spin and your motor is cutting out after a short spin.Is this correct? Now does the motor cut out during a wash cycle? If the motor only cuts out during the spin cycle , and with your machine being noisy on spin,I think the fault will be your bearings are corroded. With the bearings being corroded it puts more load on the motor causing the inbuilt thermal overload in the motor to activate and turning the motor off to save it from burning out. Please reply with additional information on, if it cuts out on wash and I am sure I can help you further.

The shaft is too long on the generic motor. Can I

Hi, yes you can! We cut shafts on condenser fan motors all of the time to fit. These motors have a 6"x1/2" in shaft and we cut them with a hack saw. Just clean the end up some with a file or sandpaper.

The motor continues to run on out freezer. We have adjusted the thermostat until it cuts off but it will cut back on in a short time. We also cleaned out from under the freezer but nothing we try seems to...

Which motor are you talking about, as there is a compressor, a condenser fan motor (located with the compressor), and evaporator fan motor?

It cut's back on shortly as the sensed temperature "cut-in" is reached, and the unit tries to cool things down below that set temperature again.
