SOURCE: I have a 2002 650 Quest Bombardier. The oil

You can try a different pressure sender. Otherwise your only option is to replace the pump to see if it fixes the problem. If you still have the light coming on after replacing the pump you have a problem caused by engine wear. Every thing is so loose that pressure can not build up or you need a total rebuild to tighten up the tolerances enough to have pressure.

I assume you have checked the oil, try jumping the low oil sensor wire, to begin the process of elimination.

You should not run it at all if oil light is on. It could be the sensor, but if not the engine will ruin

Bombardier

Check how you wired up the starter. IF it is not right there will be no power for the solenoid to engage the pinion gear before there is power to the motor . The solenoid action is to push out the gear then bridge out the main contacts . If you are wrong the motor gets power but the solenoid doesn't move the pinion gear out.
