How get How get to the batteries in a 600Frascal scooter.

Fold the back of the seat forward, from behind reach both sides of the seat, the right side will have a lever that needs to be pushed forward and lift the seat off.

the cover is snapped into place in the back, I normally grab both sides of the cover and tilt up toward the back and lift. If you should have a docking device mounted to the seat post you may need to disassemble part of it to remove the cover, hopefully not. the batteries should be sitting with the post upright, sometimes the batteries were laid on there side, this is not good for the batteries. unplug one battery replace the cables and reinstall, then go to the next battery and do the same. Turn the key on, to see what state the charge is. then replace the cover and seat. Plug the charger in and allow the batteries to fully charge. Scooter Doctor App

How do I remove the front seats of a 2008 Kia Sorento

Unhook both battery cables and short them together to discharge the capacitor that fires the air bag. Then you need to get in the passenger compartment and look under the seats for any connections that attach to the seat. Disconnect these. You then need to use tools to remove the bolts that hold the seat frames to the body and remove the seats. If you put in different seats or don't have the same connections as the old ones, you will have SRS errors on the BCM and the airbags and tensioners wont work. When you are done reconnect the battery cables,

I need to remove and replace a 2004 Honda Odyssey drivers seat. (power). My manual says I need a 'seat removal tool'. What is this and how do I get one?

You don't need any special tools to remove driver's seat. Only you have to do is to disconect battery at least 3 min. before disconecting cables from underseat wires. Seat is mounted to the floor with four bolts.

How do I replace the battery on a 2001 Suzuki Volusia Intruder?

To replace the battery:

1- remove the rear (passenger) seat by removing the single bolt behind it. Remove the seat by lifting it up and back

2- Remove the front (driver's) seat). Remove the two bolts behind it and remove the seat by lifting it up and back.

3- Removing the seats will give you access to the battery under the driver's seat.

4- Carefully remove the positive and negative battery cables from the battery, then lift the battery straight up.

5- Place the new battery in the bike

6- Replace the cables, red is positive (+), black is negative (-)

7- replace the seats, and you should be good to go!

I need to replace the batteries in a quickie rhythm wheel chair, can you please tell me how to get to the batteries to replace them?

If you are able you need to remove the seat. Lift up on the lever on the right side under the seat and lft Don't forget to disconnect the joystick cable that goes into the shroud near the seat post. After you have gotten the seat out of the seat post remove the shroud covering the base by pulling up to relaese the velcro tabs. You should be able to see the batteries. Disconnect the cables and lift out each battery. Replace with new ones making sure you reattach the wires to the correct polarity. Red to pos black to neg. Hope this helps

Who do you replace the batteries

I've never heard of a 1HD wheel chair and I've been at this for a long time. Assuming it's a Pride Heavy Duty (HD) then you would start by disconnecting the joystick from the base by unplugging it at the rear of the base, and cut any nylon cable ties holding the joystick cable in place to the base. Then remove the seat. Depending on the model, you can do this either with a lever on the side that unlocks the seat to allow it to pivot. If yours has this lever, unlock and turn the seat very slightly, then lift up with a **** with both hands and it should come off after a few good tugs...some need more coaxing. If the seat is a "post-mounted" seat, you will see it attached to the base with four posts at each corner and there should be a retaining ring holding the posts together. Remove the pins and lift the seat off(helps to have two people). It may have a rear locking seat where you release the front mechanism under the front of the seat and tilt the seat up, then slide the seat slightly forward and lift up. These are the only three ways I've seen a seat attached to a base. Once the seat is off, you need to remove the shroud covering the batteries. Many are simply held on with velcro, so if you don't see any screws holding the shroud on, just lift up on it and pull it away from the velcro. If there are screws, remove them to lift off the shroud. Now you will see the batteries. Disconnect both of them and move the wiring out of the way. Remove the front battery, then the rear, and replace with new batteries and reassemble. The seat and batteries are pretty heavy, so it is nice to have a helper.

Wear is the batary on VW touareg 2 5 tdi

are you really ready for this..
if (typeof InitForm != "undefined") InitForm('lookup1','autodiv1','down');
Under the drivers seat. OK, let's add to this...

It's a tad more complicated. There are two plastic covers at the front of the seat on the floor. You need to lift both of them up. That exposes a fastener that will require a 10mm "triple square" male tool. This is similar to the familiar Torx (6 point star) fastener except it has 12 points instead of 6 points. This tool is available at many auto supply places, without it, you will NOT replace the battery. Remove both screws (they're TIGHT!!!), remove the plastic trim pieces from the rear of the seat slide assembly (carefully snap off) Tilt the seat back all the way forward, slide the seat forward almost all the way but leave space to miss the steering wheel. Now push back on the seat back and the entire seat will tilt to the rear exposing the battery box under the drivers seat. There are four clips that hold the cover on, unhook them, remove the torx screw holding the heater deflector to the battery box lid, remove the wire tie holding the wire to the top of the box and remove the box cover. Now you see the battery. Remove the gas vent plastic pipe from the front, remove the metal cover at the front left corner (10mm socket) it will not come out until you remove the (-) cable but don't just yet. remove the side clamp (10mm socket) and the battery is loose and free. It would be smart (but not required) to provide a 12 volt electrical source to the battery terminals as you replace the battery to help keep all of the radio GPS etc, settings. Remove the terminals, lift out the battery.

Remove seat and battery Yamaha tw-200

There are two seat bolts under the seat that must be removed. Obviously, if the underside of the fender is covered in mud, you'll have to clean it first. A metric socket works best to remove the bolts.

After removal of the seat bolts, lift the back of the seat, then pull straight back; a plastic flange on the front of the seat hooks under the tank, and so you have to pull it backwards to remove it.

With the seat off, removing the battery is pretty easy. A rubber strap holds the battery down; unhook and remove it. Unscrew the lead wires and unhook them (negative first), then pull the battery out.

Install a replacement battery by reversing these steps. Yamaha recommends charging a new battery before installing it.
