It's the one in the front of the oil pan facing the front of the bike. It is a 5/8 hex bolt with a 1/4 Allen in the center. Make sure u replace the oring part number 11105 and seal the threads with tephlon liquid or tape.

Wanted to change oil on 99 Ultra Classic. Removed what I thought was oil drain plug (located on bottom of engine, right side, near back of flat finned bottom). Oil drained, but not engine oil...What did...

On your Ultra, the oil pan is on the bottom of the transmission. If you pull the oil dipstick, you'll see that it goes down into the pan located under the transmission. The engine oil drain is the drain plug nearest the left front of the pan or in the middle of the pan. If the bike is on the side stand when your drain the oil, I'd pull the plug in the front so that all the oil comes out. If you pull the one in the middle, you must stand the bike up straight to get all the oil out. The transmission drain appears to be the pipe plug in the front of the oil pan. Go to www.bikebandit.com and pull up this drawing. It will show you the pan and the gasket. Notice the gasket closely, the hole down through the front of the pan looks like it goes to the transmission and the other plugs look like they are for engine oil. The plug you pulled out is the drain for the cam chest, I think. I'm not a Twin Cam mechanic but I'm pretty sure that I'm right about that particular plug. You probably didn't get any more than a couple of ounces of oil out of that area.

NEED TO KNOW HOW TO CHANGE ALL OILS 2005 Electra glied classes harley

The oil tank is on the bottom of the transmission. The engine oil drain plug is on the left front corner of the oil tank. Drain the oil, change the oil filter, and refill with three quarts of any approved 20W50 weight engine oil. Check the oil level using the dip stick. The dip stick is located on the right side of the transmission. The oil cap is a large cap (2" or 50mm in diameter) with knurled edges on it. The dipstich has two marks on it. The top mark is 'FULL HOT" and the lower mark is "FULL COLD". Keep the oil level between these two marks. Check the oil level with the bike on the side stand.

I need to know where the oil drain plug is on a 1999 FLH Ultra Classic Electra Glide Harley Davidson

The oil pan is on the bottom of the transmission. Look under the transmission and you'll see two drain plugs. The one closest to the front left corner is the engine oil drain. The one closest to the center is the transmission drain.

I want to change my motor oil which is the drain plug, i smell exhaust fumes untill the motor warms up?2000 ultra clasic

The oil tank is on the bottom of the transmission. There are two drain plugs. The drain located about the center of the oil pan is the transmission drain plug. The drain plug nearest the front left of the oil pan is the engine oil drain.

A rich smell to the exhaust fumes when the engine is cold is typical. The computer on your bike (and your car) senses that the engine is cold and requires a slightly rich mixture to run. When the engine warms up, the computer leans the mixture back out. This is why you don't have a "choke" on your bike, the computer changes the injector dwell time to richen the mixture instead of you having to use a choke.

For a 2001 Harley Ultra Classic where is the oil drain plug located

The oil tank is on the bottom of the transmission. There are two drain plugs, one for the engine oil and one for transmission lube. The engine oil drain is the one closest to the left front of the oil tank. The drain that is more in the center is the transmission drain.
