Need diagram to put on starter drive clutch ***.for 1985 1340cc harley

To replace the starter drive clutch on your 1985 model Big Twin, first disconnect the battery. Drain the primary and remove the primary cover. Remove the starter drive shaft that has the clutch on it. Clamp the drive shaft in a vise equipped with soft jaws and remove the nut from the end of the shaft. The nut is the round piece on the end that has two flats for a wrench to fit. It has LEFT HANDED THREADS. Remove the starter drive and replace it with a new unit. Replace the nut using Loctite 271 red and put the starter drive shaft back in. Make sure you purchase a good starter drive clutch. Avoid the Chinese units as they don't hold up very well. If you need a diagram, go to this site.

Do you have to remove the inter primary to change the Stator on a 1989 FXST H/D m/c.

According to the book that I'm looking at, you do not have to remove the inner primary. The opening in the inner primary is large enough for the rotor to come out without having to pull the inner primary. If the Inner primary cover does not "step down" right in the front but remains full size all the way to the outer primary, the rotor and stator will come out without having to pull the inner.

Install drive belt on harley fxst-c

Be ready to remove the following:
rear wheel (to allow removal of old belt and threading of new belt)
outer primary (to allow access to the two items following)
clutch hub (to allow removal of the inner primary)
primary drive chain (same as above)
compensator sprocket (same as above)
inner primary (to allow access to primary drive sprocket, and allow belt removal, and thread new belt)
While you have the rear wheel off, you may want to check for wear on the belt sprocket, as they can wear out.
Inner and out primary gaskets will be needed. Figure 50 dollars as I think they only come in a kit, maybe not.
If you have the tools and capability to do the above, that's about it.
The belt will run over a hundred dollars, and if done in a shop, you can see that most expense is for labor.

Compensator nut

150-165 foot pounds with two LINES of Loctite 271 red in the threads of the nut. Yeah, it's tight and you will need a primary locking bar to lock the primary so that the engine will not turn over while applying torque to the nut. A primary locking bar is a piece of rectangular metal stock cut the precise length to fit into the primary chain teeth on engine sprocket and the outer clutch shell in order to prevent the spocket from turning.
