Question about 2000 Harley Davidson FLHTCUI Electra Glide Ultra Classic
On the top cover of your transmission, there is a neutral indicator switch. It screws in and has only one wire on it. A simply screw the old one out and the new one in change.
To test. Unplug the wire from the switch with the ignition switch on. The neutral light should be out. Now, ground the wire to the tranny case, the light should come on. If not, the bulb is blown or you have a short somewhere.
