You have a bent shift fork in the transmission. The tranny will need to be torn down to get to the bad fork. Please rate my answer.

Honda CBF250 - When clutch pulled fully, switching Neutral to 1st Gear bike bounces forward

I think could two things. 1. A sticky clutch from being used for awhile. Are you starting it in gear with the clutch in or in neutral then engaging first. 2. You might need a slight adjustment on your clutch. Particully if there doesn't feel like much tension on the clutch lever.

2005 yamaha ttr-125 will shift into 1st and neutral fine but will not shift into any other gears.

Hi, Fmarules and the usual suspects are:
1. Clutch not disengaging.
2. Bent shift shaft.
3. Shift fork bent or seized.
4. Gear seized on the shaft.
5. Gear positioning lever binding.
6. Shift return springs weak or broken.
7. Shift return spring pin loose
8. Shift mechanism arm spring is broken.
9. Shift mechanism arm is broken.
10. Shift drum is broken.

Some times when i change down from 3rd into 2nd i hit netraul and from 2nd into 1st i get netraul only happens when engine is hot. xl1200r 2006 model

The transmission "neutral" position is located between 2nd and 1st gear. You say you're also getting a "false neutral" between 3rd and 2nd. Since you say you're finding both, it leads me to suspect that you are not being aggressive enough when shifting the gears. The Sportster has the best shifting transmission of all the Harley motorcycles. Since it does shift so easily, riders sometimes "soft shift" the transmission and wind up missing gearshifts. This is the most likely problem, rider error.

Now, there is the possibility that the clutch is dragging but that usually effects the transmission when upshifting, not so much downshifting. With the engine off and switch on, put the transmission in gear, hold the clutch lever in, press the starter button. If the bike tries to move forward, you need to adjust the clutch.

Shifts hard into 1st. When stopped hard to find neutral

hello and welcome
this is most likely caused from a wearing clutch. when the clutch is held in there are a series of clutch plates that seperate. and allow ease of drive force from the main shaft to the counter shaft. but if the plates get worn they tend to not disengage as well. and the gears do not engage as easily and finding neutral can be hard to find or impossible to do sometimes.
to fix this the clutch plates both the fibers and steels need to be inspected for warpage. im sure you will find the fault there. thank you.

It will be hard to shift or find neutral if the clutch isn't adjusted right. check your adjustment first.
