You did not specify if battery was replaced. A poor battery may cause all kinds of electrical and drivability problems.

I ran out of gas on my Kawasaki ZX9 and it runs not very well now! How do I clean the carbs out?

re-categorized, and tidied up your English. :-)

There are videos. Tank off, air filter box off, disconnect linkages and fuel pipes, remove carbs, clean the bottom float chambers and then the jets. Reassemble and balance the carbs. Not done this for a few years but fairly straight forward.

My 1995 kawasaki ninja zx9 will not start until we crank it for like a hour or more and with starter fluid well only started after it backfired ends up pump is bad i put new one in and same thing could...

Only 3 things to check air, fuel and spark. Check your spark by removing your left spark plug cap and place an old plug in it, then touch it to the side of the block. Crank the engine if you see a spark then, move to the right hand side and do the same. If you have spark on both sides, then both coils should be OK. If no or very weak spark, your coils could be faulty.
If you have good spark, check your air filter see if it is clean. If it looks dirty it is dirty and won't flow good air. If it is oily then your pcv is blocked.
If clean and good, then check fuel. First thing to check is, is there any fuel in carb bowl. On bottom of the bowl should be an allen head screw, undo it only until fuel comes out, check all four (one at a time). If no or very little fuel, then maybe your needle and seat are worn or stuck. lightly tap each offending carb and see if fuel comes out. If fuel starts to flow, shut off screw, do all carbs the same way. Try to restart bike, if it starts and stalls. You will need to replace all 4 needles and seats. Kawasaki's are notorious for dropping carbs.

Husqvarna with Kawasaki 21hp engine misfiring when revved

We had big problems with the Kawasaki engine doing this, the early engine has an external vented carb, you can try extening the pipe from the carb and get it away from the draught from the flywheel, the later engine has an internally vented carb which cured this issue, the carb is retro fittable but expensive, it was offered as a re build kit when fitted to Husqvarna tractors, try taking it up with Kawasaki.

Im not getting any spark, what are some ways to troubleshoot spark on my ZX9

Hi, Jerome and the usual suspects are:
1. Fouled spark plugs.
2. Severely discharged or a damaged battery, should have 12.5 volts or better and be able to pass a load test if necessary.
3. Check battery terminals for damage or corrosion, check the battery cables at "BOTH" ends for loose, corroded, or broken connectors, "INSIDE" and outside the cable harness, perform connector wiggle test and check cables with an ohmmeter if necessary.
4. Loose connection at ignition coil or plug between ignition sensor and module.
5. Spark plug cables in bad condition, shorting, leaking, spark plug cable connections loose check for spark leakage in the dark.
6. Faulty ignition coil or CDI or electronic control module.
7. Faulty CKP, CMP, or BAS sensor.
8. Faulty ignition switch.
9. Tilt sensor needs a reset.
10. Security alarm failing to disarm needs reset

My 99 kawaski zx7 looses power

Check your compression. If after running the bike to operating temp, you are loosing power, it is an indication of a cracked piston head.

Replaced the fuel lines primary and return will not start now

You must go back over your new line replacements and see what you did to "starve fuel" first .Sounds like you have created a problem in new fuel lines

I have a 99 zx9r . when i go around the block it will die then it

Hi I owned a 2002 zx9 and had to replace all the coild packs as well as new plugs and filters, does it just all out die as in loses battery life or just dies then is hard to start? also would check the main feed line into the carbs, see if you can take it loose and lightly blow some air in through the carbs, this will loosen any dirt in the carbs up that could be causeing the problems. Good luck and hope everything works for you as well as it did for me.
