Just take your old line off and replace it with the new line. Be careful because the brake fluid will damage your paint if it's DOT 4. One you have replaced the brake line, fill the master cylinder with the proper brake fluid. Open the bleeder valve and let gravity do it thing. Usually once the fluid starts to flow out of the bleeder valve, all the air is gone as well.

But if the brake lever still feels spongy or no brake at all, first bleed the master cylinder. Squeeze the hand lever and hold it while you loosen the union bolt on the end of the master cylinder. Once the pressure bleeds off, close the valve and repeat the process until you get no air bubbles. Then, move down to the brake caliper and do the same thing until you get no air and a full brake lever. You must do it in this order exactly. Squeeze the lever, open the valve, close the valve, let go of the lever. Do not allow the master cylinder to run dry during the bleeding process.

Good Luck
Steve

My bleeding screw for the front brakes are both broke Wat should I do I have drums in the back on a 03 Malibu how can I bleed them

You use the bleeder on the rear drums to bleed those lines but you cannot do it to front brakes until you replace the bleeders up there.

Just replaced brake lines on 03 alero, bled brakes but still have none...why?

The vacuum booster (engine running) is telling you that you need to bleed them better.
Not bleeding them longer allows air to stay trapped in the lines and the air doesn't make much difference until the engine is providing vacuum boost to the brake system.

Brake pedal soft after changing pads and bleeding brakes

You will need to bleed the brake system. I would start with the rear brakes lines and work towards the front. You must have key off engine off when bleeding brakes, apply pressure on brake pedal 10 times and hold. The brake line is now ready to be open. Open and let the stream of fluid come out and close the line tight. Then release brake pedal once bleeder screw is close. This procedure must be repeated twice front and back. After, brakes have been bleed pump the brake pedal before putting in drive.
Note: Don't let the resevoir run low on brake fluid. This will cause air bubbles to accumulate on the brake system. Always top off before opening bleeder screw.

Front line blow, replaced line master cly to abs block and from abs to right front wheel. bleed have very low and soft paddle.on 03 gmc 2500 hd 4x4. did not put all the turns and bends back in line does...

Ok here is what you have to do. First off make sure your master cylinder is full, Second your vehicle must be running when you bleed brakes that is equiped with ABS this allows the ABS pump to to run you must bleed both front brakes starting at the passenger side wheel then moving to the drivers side. It will take quit a bit of bleeding and be sure to keep checking fluid level in master cylinder well bleeding. Just remeber the vehicle must be running while bleeding the brakes.

Front brakes on my o2 fatboy will not stay pumped up

hello, my uncle had this problem with a old panhead, the clutch maste cyclinder was bypassing fluid, we took it apart, and honed it out, put new kit in, and it works great, sometimes the rubbers inside will stick, if it has been setting for a while, can get the small hones a harley davidson, and the rebuild kit also, dont remember what he paid, been about 2years ago, check your brake cyclinder also for leaks, you can try and bleed the brake system make sure there is no air in line, since it is pumping up....

I have to pump my rear brakes to get them to work it an 02 flstfi fatboy

brake fluid should be changed a least once a year so check to see what type of fluid you need and bleed the system i myself use a mini-vac for this. make sure you do this several times and push your brake pedal slowly to get pressure do not pump, this creates little air bubbles.only crack the bleed screw enough for the fluid to pass thru. If this does not cure your problem you may need a new master cyclinder and or rebuild kit for the calitper good luck
