Either you have a bad regulator/rectifier or you hooked up an accessory (fog lights, radio, etc.) directly to the battery. Drawing power directly from the battery and not drawing it from a power wire past the regulator/rectifier causes the charging system to go hay wire and boil the battery dry. Never draw power directly from your battery. Always hook accessories to a hot wire on the motorcycle past the regulator/rectifier.

if it is water cooled check for mud in the radiator fins. If air cooled check fpr mud at the base of the head and barrel fins. You may need a compression test to see if there is a head gasket problem if water cooled .

If i have new fully charged batteries, what is the range of the chair?

That is a hard question to answer. Your range of distance can differ due to terrain. If you are riding the chair around the mall you might get 5-7 miles. If you are riding it on a sidewalk you might get 3-5 miles. If you ride it in the grass you might get 1 mile. The best answer I can give you is that most people can go 1-3 days between charges. You also have to consider your weight. If you are 100 lbs or 350 lbs. there are always factors. Since the chair does not measure distance it would be unfair to give you a number based on distance to gauge your battery life. You need to watch the battery gauge and determine what your chair is able to do.

Overheating

Odds are that the thermostat is stuck in the closed position. Replace it with a new one with a new gasket. Its easy to do and will cost around 10 bucks. Also watch the exhaust to see if it is making a lot of steam and dripping greenish water. If it is then you have a more serious problem like a blown head gasket or cracked head. Don't continue to drive with a overheating engine because it can cause the head to crack or warp.

Your voltage regulator is bad. She is over-charging. From your description, when this happens the charging system is putting to much voltage/amps back into the battery. The regulator senses battery voltage and then cuts back the amount of alternator output.

2003 MURANO 3.5 HAS NO HEAT INSIDE SUV, BUT OVER HEATS-BOILS OVER OUTSIDE AFTER A COUPLE MILE DRIVING

Thermostat is closed all the time, it needs to be replaced ASAP-don't drive it to the point of it overheating, an aluminum engine does not tolerate overheating well-blown head gaskets, warped head/block, or worse, all very expensive-the thermostat is cheap and should cost less than $100 to replace, you could do it yourself for less than $25.

1993 Toyota Tercel overheating when driving only

Make sure the radiator is clear of debris
Try a different coolant. Stay away from the Red stuff
When changinging the thermostant go for a 180 or less. It sounds like your thermostat open when it really heats up. Get a lower thermostat.
