It sounds like you engine may be idled just a bit low.

If your bike is carb equipped, the idle speed stop screw is located at the top right side of the carb. Turn it inwards, clockwise, to raise the idle speed slightly. You may have to remove the air cleaner cover to get to the screw.

If your bike is fuel injected, you'll need to take it to a shop to have the idle speed set.

Idle speed should be about 1000 RPM when at full temp.

Good luck
Steve

Oil leaking from silincer of dirt bike

Dear Jesus
The oil ring on the piston may worn out or broken causing engine oil leaks to the combustion chamber and exhausted as unburnt through silencer. As the result it consume more fuel, shortening of spark plug chocking of silencer etc.
This may also happen the overflow of fuel through carburetor.
It has to be replaced for which the engine to be disassembled.
Thanks.

Hi I have a 1998 kawa 1100 zzr the problem is strucale to start I must pull the chock and as the motor start to swing I must open the throttel fully and keep it there until bike start and then I must close...

Hey Heinrich,
Sorry.. but it sounds like the problem is still your carburetors.
I would replace the spark plugs AFTER you have a Qualified Professional clean and set your carburetors!! Also have the compression checked on all 4 cylinders....Sometimes low compression will cause a hard starting problem...

I have a 2005 Yamaha V-Star Classic and has only a little over 1,000 miles on it. Is there an easy way to clean the carbs while still on the bike. Bike not runing and have to open chocke to keep runing....

Yes, you need to run some fuel carb cleaner in the fuel.
Not sure where you are but in the US its called seafoam, or in Europe forte cleaner, make sure its one for petrol.
Make sure your fuel filter is replaced as well just in case there is rubbish in there.

2003 Suzuki vz800 Maurader suddenly went down to half power as I was ridingon the highway. It allowed me to get home at 50 mph but was unable to accelerate. Now I can start the bike with the choke out...

Please check your exhaust pipe or the silencer. It must have been chocked with carbon and you have to remove the carbon deposit to run your motorcycle.

Also clean your fuel tank as it could have dust deposits at the bottom chocking the fuel flow once it is in running condition.

Please change the spark plug as recommended after covering a distance specified.
