    Tks your response.

    Year 2001
Serviced by BMW 2 months ago

went out for a 20 minute ride with no problem, but stopped bike prior to parking in my garage, it would not restart.
All the functions came on - lights etc only difference was the indicators which came on but did not pulse as normal.
All I heard was the battery "clicking" while trying to start and the indicators on the dial dimming...
    so assume battery OK..

advise if you need more info!!

You need to tell us more, such as the year, so that we know if it has points or electronic ignition.
But you also need to tell us what "not succeed" means?
If the engine is turning over, then it would have to be a fuel of ignition problem.
If it is not turning over fast enough, then it could be the battery is bad, not being charged well enough, the starter could be bad, the engine could be hydro locked from too much gas, etc.
Too many choices.

You need either a test light or a volt meter.
First make sure the battery cables are clean and greased.
They put the meter or light across the battery, it should read normal voltage.

When you try to start it, if the voltage does not drop enough, that would mean the starter solenoid is not jumping the switch to power the field. The switch is in the solenoid, which is part of the starter, so a new starter would be easiest. (There is also a small possibility of a dead spot where the starter jams on the flywheel, but unlikely; and you can also rebuild the starter, but most don't.)

If the voltage drops too much and does not come back when you stop, then the battery is either bad or not getting changed. Recharge the battery, and then test the charging system by reving the engine and seeing the voltage go over the voltage when off or idle, or the test light get brighter.

If the voltage drops too much but then does come back, then it is too much starter draw. This can be from a short in the starter, or some sort of binding, such as a frozen engine.

If you hear a click while turning the key this would indicate low charge in battery any reading under 12 on a tester would have trouble starting other than that loose battery leads have you tried jumping if it starts with a jump this would indicate battery.

Where is the starter located on a 2007 Chevy Impala? It just clicks when I turn it on and lights barely turn on and the air will turn on only when trying to jump the battery. Engine didn't turn on even...

    Check the battery like this:
Turn on the headlights, then try to start the car.
If the headlights do not dim or go out, then the battery is likely ok.
Check that the battery cable plus post, goes to the starter, Minus post to a good ground, like the engine.
If wiring is ok, then look at the starter solenoid for a good connection.
Problem is most likely the Solenoid or starting relay, whichever the car uses.
    Hope this helps.

    Start key problem

you need to find out if its the starter or in the ignition find the small wire on the starter that activates the solinoid use a test light on that wire to see if there is power . dont forget to check engine and body grounds from battery. if all good then then check the big cable at the starter for positive power if ok starter defective. if no power on the little wire then could be ignition ,anti theft, starter relay or wiring. good luck
