Sorry, I don't think I've ever seen an FXDC. My speciality is 1999 or earlier. Maybe someone else is on here that can help. If it's one of the dyna series bikes, loose the two screws to the rear of the battery tray. Remove the seat and look down behind the battery, there is a jack bolt. Turn the bolt counter clockwise and the battery will lower allowing you to remove the battery cover and surround. That is IF it's a dyna series bike.

It's a Dyna or Wide Glide, correct? Battery box on the side?

  • doug_wintle Sep 03, 2010

It's a Dyna super glide. the battery is under the seat. I have the seat off but can't find any nuts, screwes or bolts to take the battery cover off. I need to get to the battery terminals.

On the older models, there were two bolts back towards the rear wheel from the battery. Loosen the two bolts to the rear of the battery tray. Remove the seat and look down behind the battery, there is a jack bolt. Turn the bolt counter clockwise and the battery will lower allowing you to remove the battery cover and surround.

I drop my iphone 4 in the sink

First of all: Don't try to charge it or turn it on unless you're sure all the water has come out. You write it's gotten hot. That means the battery discharged very rapidly du to the water inside the iPhone. It might be the battery or surrounding circuits have been damaged by this, but first let's get the water out.

Put your iPhone in a closed container filled with rice (uncooked! fresh from the store). Rice is (like salt) pulling all water from it's surrounding. Don't use salt as salt can lead to heavy corrosion.
It's a good idea to open the SIM tray.

If you keep this jar/box in a warm place for several days all water will evaporate from the iPhone case into the rice. After that you shouldn't see any traces of humidity left on the iPhone. If unsure leave the iPhone with the rice for a few days more.

Plug the charger in and wait a few minutes to see if the charging indicator shows up or the iPhone starts. Be prepared to pull the plug in case the iPhone gets host very fast. Good Luck.

TC-P50GT25 Viera has no audio out put.I need to connect surround sound.

In that case all you can do is connect each device you're connecting to the television to the surround sound. You would connect the device to the television for video only and connect the sound cables to the surround sound. You may also be able to connect the devices directly to the surround sound (video and audio) and then connect it to one of the television's inputs.

I can't figure how to change the battery on this hardcase lantern took off the rubber surrounding the lantern face, but nothing else seems to come off without unscrewing, But seems like those sre rivits...

I've owned this flashlight for years. In the comment above, ignore the instruction to remove the rubber casing around the lamp area. Simply grasp the whole front of the lamp piece (including the rubber cover), and twist in a counter-clockwise direction to remove. Then squeeze together the two black tabs and pull the battery compartment out to replace the batteries.

How do u get surround sound out of all the speakers when watchen tv

Most of the time, you will only get surround sound out of all the speakers when the Soure (ie Cable, Satellite etc.) puts out surround sound. The receiver can only give what it gets (unless it has a simulated surround function, in which case it wouldn't be true surround sound). If you can check the info from the source, see if it shows you Dolby 5.1 or DTS as an option. If these aren't available, then you won't get surround sound. Hope this helps!

The batteries keep popping out when I open the case.

Your battery door or surrounding casing is broken. It's a common problem with this model (especially for units with the side battery door). Unfortunately, your only options are to tape the door shut or get a new calculator. If only the door, and not the casing, is broken you can try to find just the battery door.

Backout problem with the lcd, dell

hi, it sounds like the backlight inverter is failing. you will need to remove the screen surround to acess it . make sure you remove all power and battery before atempting. its not too difficult a job to attempt. remove any rubber bumpers around the screen to reveal the screws holding the surround in place, remove the screws then you will need to clip out the surround taking care not to damage your screen. when the surround is off this should expose the backlight inverter a small circuit board about 10-15cm long there are wires attached either end its simply a case of removing the wires and replacing the inverter. putting back together is simply a reversal of the dismantling proceedure.
hope this helps

Replace battery how do you open n60i

There are two small screws on the bottom of the case. Remove these and pry open from the bottom carefully. Note that yhe case surrounds the USB jack so take care with that side of the case when opening. The speaker is on the back part of the case and is connected to the motherboard. As you remove the back make sure to disconnect the cable before you pull far and tear the connector - it's small.
