What oil are you running?
50 weight in the winter and 60 weight in the summer.
Why do you say low oil pressure?
Is the oil light blinking?

How do u change oil on a 1993 883 sportster? what weight oil ?

Look on the left side of the bike just below the battery. You'll see a hose that either has a plug in it or one that is plugged onto the frame. Take this hose lose and the oil will drain. Refill with three quarts of 20W50 oil that meets H-D specs.

I would like to know what weight oil i need to put in my 2002 sporsters crankcase

A Harley Sportster, and their Big Twins for that matter, do not have oil in the crankcase. They are what we call "dry sump" engines in the fact that they carry their oil in a seperate remote oil tank.

On your Sportster, you can use Harley's Syn3 20W50 oil in the oil tank. There are other manufactures that make fine oils suitable for your engine but you'll have to check their websites for their recommendations. Amsoil, Royal Purple, Mobil V-Twin are a few.

On the transmission and primary, I'd use H-D semi-synthetic primary and transmission lubricant. There may be other brands that are available as well.

Good Luck

Specs and oil capacity

Most owners of the old Ironheads try to use the oils that were used when they were built. They use straight 50 weight when the weather is cold and 60 weight when temps are hot. But, one could use 10W50 oil in them. I would not use synthetic as any oil leaks will intensify with the use of synthetic oil. The XLH, XLX, and XLS tanks hold three quarts with the exception of the XR1000 which hold two quarts.

What kind of oil does this bike use and the tire pressure should be what?

If the bike is 2005 Harley Davidson XL1200 Sportster, it uses Harley Davidson Syn3 20W50 oil. You can use any good petroleum or synthetic oil of this weight as long as it has a API code rating with CG or better for use in diesel engines. Amsoil makes a good substitute or Mobil V-Twin.

Tire pressure is 30 psi in the front 36 psi in the rear

Need to know what type fluid goes in clutch housing cover on 79 sportster 1000

Harley-Davidson Sport Trans fluid or equilivant. Now, there are several aftermarket makers of this oil. It is different from the oil used in the Big Twin clutch cover because in the Big Twin, the oil only lubricates the chain and the clutch. In a Sportster, the oil also is the transmission lubricant so it has to have the proper shear resistance and high pressure lubricant additives in it. Custom Chrome, V-Twin, Motor Factory, and many others make this lubricant. Order it through your motorcycle shop.
