The regulator/rectifier is on the left side of the bike. Should be near the battery under the seat cowl.

Does anyone have a service manual for a 2004 cbr 1000rr fireblade

Hi, Allen the vast majority of service, parts, and owners manuals on the internet are "FREE" to download and all service manuals contain wiring diagrams in the back pages. The rest usually charge a modest fee around $10 and there is a handful of obscure, rare, obsolete, and very old models that are no longer or never were available, for these rare occasions I shall look on eBay and find the cheapest one available. Most of the manuals will cover your exact make, model, and year otherwise one will be provided that comes as close as possible to your bike and will have most of the same info that an exact manual would have. I cannot work out how to change the time on the digital dashboard, can anyone help at all?

Below is a site where you can download a free factory service manual for a 2004 CBR 1000RR. Chances are that you can find an answer in the service manual. Go to the 28th manual in the Honda list. It is a large file. This one doesn't mention Fireblade but some do.

Flat batery

The 2004 models have a problem with their generator stator. They have the light always on and the generator tries all the time to charge the battery in low rpm but is not enough so the regulator/rectifier fails, then the generator fails and of course the battery. You have to check the whole charging circuit and if you need to replace the generator stator purchase the 2005 part.It fits and it is improved.New regulator/rectifier and of course new battery. After you have finished install a small switch somewhere at the upper side of your front forks so that you can switch off the lights when ever you can.
