Question about 2005 Suzuki RM 125

1 Answer

The carb seems to be sticking at full throtle. It does not appear to be cable or throtle. we have checked the two. I have notice the motor will rev and miss a bit when the sticking accures. It use to stick only at full throtle and that was once in a while. today it stuck at half throtle.

2006 Hawkeye sputters at full throtle. Take air boot and air cleaner off runs fine. put just air boot on it starts to sputter at full throtle. Not even the air cleaner just tube from carb to air clean

that might be the overflow tube and should not be hooked to anything, it's like a emergency drain for the carb and when you hooked it to the filter is pulling gas out of the carb at high motor speeds causing it to sputter .. jay

Runs at full throtle and then stops

sounds like you have a crank seal out of it, you ncan try to clean carb and check fuel lines etc, but usually when they rev high with out giving throttle means there is an air leak Good Luck 2StrokeJim

check for flooding carb/ carbs. set propper float levels. make sure the throtle cable is adjusted from the top and the bottom. make sure the carb flys are closing all the way. sounds more like a flooding problem.

My banshee keeps sticking in high revs

Your throtle cable or the carb it stisking. Check the cable for kinks and lube the cable that goes threw the cable housing with cable lube. Do not use w-40 cause it attacks dirt.
