How many amps to charge motorcycle battery?

use a 2 amp charge. It may take a while, but there's less chance of damaging the battery.

Replaced battery and now wont start is there reset button

Don't mean to sound patronizing but have you charged the new battery fully as per the instructions? Do the dash lights come on?
there is no reset button on a motorcycle.

Where do i jump start the motorcycle

Not a good idea to jump start because of the dimunitive size of the motorcycle battery compared to your car or truck ... better to charge or replace the battery ... however, if you insist, the battery is under the seat. You will have to remove the seat for any of these processes.

How do i charge the battery on my 2008 honda shadow areo 750

best way is to remove the seat and open the battery compartment then use a MOTORCYCLE charger (usually 1 amp or so) clamp the black cable to either an exposed engine mount or to the black wire on the battery clearly marked with a negative (-) then clamp the red to the positive terminal(+) then turn on your charger - if this is for long term storage a special trickle charger or smart charger for a lawn mower or motorcycle is best - never use a car charger they charge too fast and will create a heat buildup that will kill your battery prematurely.

My honda vf 1100 honda wont start after riding,is there a charging problem ? Thanks

Chances are, YES.

Simple chraging system test:
Start motorcycle
Turn HIGH BEAM light ON
Run 10 minutes or until warmed up good
Rev the RPMs to at least 3,000
Remove the positive battery cable

If the motorcycle dies, then there IS a charging sytem failure.
If the motorcycle continues to run, have the battery checked at a local parts store. If they do not know the Cold Cranking amps tell them 235.

If it is a charging system failure, send another question and I can walk you through diagnoses and repair.

Is the motor turning over? If not you need to get the battery load tested. If you used a regual automotive charger on a motorcycle battery you might have fried the battery since the car battery will take more amps than the motorcycle batter.
