I'm having a similar issue with my 2003 Marauder. I now believe it's coming from the fork suspension. The red fluid is inconsistent with the color of brake fluid. The brake fluid in my bike is tan in color where as the leaking fluid is red in color.

I also do not believe it is any other fluid since the leak is only at the front wheel. Thus, it can not be transmission fluid, oil, radiator coolant or anything else. I'll reply to this posting when I completely resolve the issue

If the leak is actually on the wheel, It's brake fluid, If it coming from anywhere else and leaking onto the outside of the wheel, it can be either the trasmission fluid, oil, or antifreeze.

Remove front wheel

There should be spacers on either side of the wheel. Check to make sure they are properly positioned. (The brake should not be installable without the correct spacing.)

Temp light won't go off on my 97 suzuki marauder fluid seem ok what would cause this

first off check the fluid after the bike is at normal operating tempature, if fluid is still ok then I would suggest checking for a broke ground, or replacing the temp sensor.

2002 Suzuki Marauder VZ800 Front cylinder does not fire till bike warms up a bit?

Definately try a spark plug first. What does the old spark plug look like? ( white, oil fouled, melted, metallic?). Usually a fuel issue will make the inoperable cylinder very hot. Might have a loose valve guide in the head, or a bent valve.

Have a 2004 suzuki marauder. engine starts but

Your idle circuit jet is clogged, you will need to run seafoam fuel additive in your gas tank and see if this clears it up or clean the carbs.

97 suzuki marauder fork seals problem

Normally no. If the fork seals are leaking when you ratchet the front down on the trailer your seals were bad prior to that. If you are talking about the straps being wrapped around the forks the only thing that they would contact would be the dust covers. The fork seals are actually down inside the fork about 1/4 inch. Have a good day
