My brake light is on bright no effect when i press the brake handles

Hi, Larybcool before diagnosing any brake light issue always check the bulb and fuse first for integrity a brake light staying on is usually caused by the front brake light switch, which is mechanical, not disengaging. On early models moving the throttle control housing closer to the front brake master cylinder is the main fix. On late models, the switch gets tweaked and needs to be realigned. A brake light that does not come on when the brake lever is applied can be caused by a faulty switch or no continuity in the wiring at the switch. The rear brake light switch is hydraulic and it is extremely rare to malfunction in a closed circuit condition causing the brake light to stay on. Usually, rear brake light switch issues are caused by no brake pedal free play or a sticky rear master cylinder piston. A brake light that does not come on when the rear brake pedal is depressed can be caused by a faulty switch, air contamination in the brake line, or no continuity in the wiring at the switch. Head light is not bright enough as compared to other bikes

Hi, Vijendra_443 if your headlight is not working the first thing to check is the headlight bulb for damaged filaments then check your light circuit fuse, that being said the usual suspects are:
1. Faulty ground or power supply to headlight bulb socket.
2. Faulty hi/lo beam switch.
3. Faulty ignition switch.
4. Fuse is good but no continuity on both sides.
5. Faulty wiring between battery positive and headlight bulb socket.

I have a 2006 Suzuki GS500F the bike ran fine and started fine for 2 weeks after i bought it used, and it started fine all day until the bike wouldn't even try to start. I thought the battery was dead so i...

Hi, I would still suspect the battery. Lights and ignition do not really draw much current neither does the bike when running.. Your battery goes almost flat when the starter is engaged lots of amps are required. Try this check: remove the battery (undo negative lead first please) then connect a high wattage bulb across the terminals see how long it takes for the bulb to dim. If the bulb is still bright after an hour re charge the battery (please use a dedicated bike charger max output 1 amp). Re-fit the battery (connect positive lead first please). If bike still does not start check starter solenoid is activating it should click when you press the start button. Hope this helps.

Hi,my kawasaki z250 wont start, starter solenoid has been repaced but just clicks

It could be "clicking" for three reasons. Poor battery voltage/contacts, no power to the motor or a faulty starter motor due to worn brushes.
The click you hear is the solenoid pulling the dog cog against the starter sprocket.
If the lights stay bright and do not "dip" in brightness when attempting to start your bike, suspect the starter motor itself or cables feeding it. Connect the battery possitive momentarily to the starter motor power contact. Does it spin? If not the motor is without a doubt faulty. If it does, your problem is the power cable from the battery and any ancillary relays.
Hope this helps.

Off-on switch as bright as when it was new. green light on charger indicates the battery is fully charged. turn throttls and bike barely moves..... ?????

check voltage with a multimeter set on volts before trying to trottle and then after you trottle it should close to the same voltage. If not then you need to replace battery.

I have charged my battery overnight and i still need to bump start my bike most of the time when riding and using the head light it stays bright so i dont think that it is the alternator

has the battery been tested, bike batteries last maybe 2 years, charge it up and have it tested, any Kragen can do it for free. doubt the problem is the alternator.
