I would check the rubber seals around the lights, check the tension on the screws, and check for hairline crack in the lens.

Tire compartment is full of water. The carpet in the trunk is not wet. it appears new and well kept. like the water is coming from below.

If you have a center brake light in the trunk lid. This is how the water gets in the well. I silicone all them. Sometimes the rear spoiler will let water in also. I also drill a hole in the bottom to drain the water. Sometimes there are plastic plugs you can pop out under the spare tire.

I have a 2001 buick century limited. The trunk wheel well and back seat floor boards are full of water. we checked the trunk seal. still looks brand new.

easiest way for now is drill a hole in the boot well so water will drain out ,their should be a rubber bung but not on all cars ,where the water is getting in is only something you can find by getting in the boot and having someone run a garden hose all over the car ,but a 3/8th hole or two will be a good cure till the weather warms up so you can play with the hose without becoming wet and cold

There's water in my tail light, how can I tale them out?

From the inside of the trunk/ hatch you will see where there is anywhere from 2-4 screws holding them in. Once out, drain the water out of the holes where the bulbs go in. That is the easiest way, try not to break the seal of the lense and housing. Please rate if i was able to help!

Trunk leak-cant find the rear drains from sunroof

If water is in the trunk, then it is probably getting in through the rear tail lights. Common problem with early 90's Honda cars. To check, hose down the trunk area and tail lights, then look at the gaskets from inside the trunk. You'll probably will see some water. To fix, you need to take each tail light out and place a seal of silicon caulk between the body of the car and the tail light gasket and replace the tail lights. This should solve your water in the trunk problem.

Getting water in my left tail light on the trunk after a simple wash.is this normal? i thought the lens were/are sealed

Sometimes the seal is a simple rubber gasket. It could be missing. It may be installed so there is a gap at the top instead of the bottom. there could be a small crack in the lens . It should be water tight. You may have to take it off and inspect it. Should be an easy fix, probably just a dab of silicone.

Anyone has issue with water getting into the Trunk when it rains? no rust, no holes, or missing rubber seal around the inside of the trunk. I was wondering if anyone knows the cause. I have this issue for...

Usually the leak is related to the seal around the tail lights, you can remove your tail light very simply by removing the 4 10mm nuts that hold it in.

The trunk is leaking rain into the interior

buy some foam spray from a can spray it around trunk seam bottom not trunk lid. close trunk to let it dry and shape foam. also check for any holes in trunk. remove all padding to look for wholes. spray foam into any holes found. this foam can also be trimmed after it dries and hardens.

Pontiac Bonneville with water leaking into trunk

same problem happened to my 2005 bonneville. inside the trunk and behind the carpet covering the wheel wells there are two water drain tubes. these tubes run down the inside of the "c" pillar and drain the water from the sunroof. they make a 90 degree bend at the bottom back of the wheel well(inside the trunk) and fit inside a round rubber tube/grommet at both of the rear wheel wells that lets the water drain outside.either the plastic 90 degree tube has come out of the rubber tube/grommet or the drain tube could be plugged up with debris. also make sure the two round rubber tube/grommets are installed correctly and seal the hole going through the trunk to the outside of each wheel well. this is of course only for those bonnevilles that have a factory sun/moon roof.

Trunk is full of water! 1997 Sentra

How do you know the trunk seal is not leaking? Did you sit in the closed trunk while someone sprayed copious amounts of water over it? The other most common leak spot is from one of the tail lights. There is a goopy material that goes aroung the tail light that is supposed to seal it. You can usually pick this up at a auto supply store. It can also be coming from a body seam in the trunk. Check the lights and then check the body seams.
