SOURCE: How do you charge the battery on a 2007 Yamaha

i'm not sure if you are saying how to access it. if you can... just unhook the battery.... attach the charger to it ... be sure you have the polarity correct.... after charging it for few hours.... hook the battery back up.... start up the bike... and let it charge the battery the rest of the way

SOURCE: how to lower the idle on a 2002 yamaha 650 v-star classic?

under the left side of the gas tank you will see i black knob/screw at the end of what looks like a hose. the knob faces the rear of bike. that adjusts the idle. its real easy to find and the only adjustment you can make to the carbs.

My 2005 650 vstar wont accelaerate in 4th and 5th gear and loses power going up hill...it has plenty of acceleration in 1st 2nd and 3rd gear...wont go faster than 65

Had same problem with my sons 2000 1100. Was told by mechanic that the High RPM Jet was clogged and to clean carb. I filled the tank, put 1/3 of a can of Seafoam carb/injector cleaner, by the end of the week it was running 100 mph again.

My 1999 Yamha Vstar 650 Classic will not go into 5th gear, or does it only have 4?

Hi, Blackhawks70 it is a 5 speed and you should be able to shift into 5th gear with the engine off by rocking the bike back and forth for this situation I would call my local dealer or reputable shop's service/parts department and inquire about any possible quick fix, answers, or parts inquiry. If necessary, transport your bike to the dealer or shop and have a professional technician take it for a test drive, if it is in running condition, and give you a written estimate of repairs and answer any specific questions you may have about your problem.
