Hi, Appen behind the right side cover there will be an oil bath, behind the left side cover there may be less than 1 oz. of oil, sorry you can't find the first and best tool you ever bought for your Suzuki despair, not for a mere $0 you can download another one. I have just purchased a 2000 Suzuki Marauder 800cc. I need to charge the battery but I don't know how to remove the seat? Can you help? Thanks

You should find a key hole on the right side of your bike, below the seat. It isn't obvious, so look for it. Put your ignition key in and turn. The seat will be released.

Liquid cooled.

Water cooled engines allow for a much more compact construction and a defined cooling on a wider operation band.

And no. Water Cooling should not be disabled under any circumstands, except you want to kill the engine. It would be killed, even on the north pole.

Air cooled engines have a much simpler design and production costs, also much lighter usualy, But need a lot of space. Also the heat distribution can be challinging construtructive task.

Oil cooling is available for both cooling models, but usualy only with 4-stroke engines. It just adds more cooling to the engine

White smoke

Are you sure the smoke is white? White smoke is usually caused by antifreeze burning.(This could be a head gasket)

If the smoke is actually light gray it is oil burning.(This would be rings or valve seals)

If it smokes mostly on startup and then stops when it warms up (It could be a worn valve guide or deteriorated valve guide seal (or possibly several) allowing a tiny amount of oil into one or more cylinders).

If it smokes mostly when you are cornering (It could be too much oil in the crankcase).

Please rate this a fixya
