Question about Suzuki 250 SB Motorcycles
I just picked up a 1974 ts250 with a broken ignition too. The previous owner just cut all the wires and removed the ignition all together. This allows the bike to start and run (with 4 bare wires sticking out...). To kill it, I touch the bare ground lead (the black wire with the white stripe) to the handlebar clamp (or any other ground source). Not a permanent solution, I'm working on wiring up a nice little toggle-switch along with a hidden toggle to keep it from being able to start all the time. These old dual-sports are pretty much dirtbikes with a road-kit factory mounted. So the electrics are pretty simple. Hope this helps!
