I have a 04 Triumph bonneville america, I just had the carbs rebuilt and it was hooked back up I was dumping fuel from the air box. Is it possible that the carbs valves are still not closing? I am kinda of stumped on this...

It sounds like your float valve is not closing. It is possible some debris found its way to the valve preventing it from closing or the float level is improperly adjusted. sounds like you have to take the carb apart to clean it out.

2002 triumph america 790CC really need repair manual I also have a 66 tr6r,much different

Hi, Mitchell the vast majority of service, parts, and owners manuals on the internet are "FREE" to download and all service manuals contain wiring diagrams in the back pages. The rest usually charge a modest fee around $10 sometimes more and there is a handful of obscure, rare, obsolete, and very old models that are no longer or never were available, then there is eBay where you may be able to find what you need at a very high price because of its age and rarity. Most of the "FREE" manuals will cover your exact make, model, and year otherwise one will be provided that comes as close as possible to your bike and will have most of the same info that an exact manual would have.

Screaching fuel pump! triumph america 865

Ok check your fuel filter first, then check fuel supply, If fuel is restricted the fuel pump will starve for fuel. You should check fuel pressure at intake. It does not sound like a fuel problem. Also does it happen at idle or under acceleration.

I've just bought a 2001 Bonneville (not America) and it has flaking / melted paint around the filler cap. The bike is intermittenly missing a beat and has cut out a couple of times at low revs. Seems...

A good plan, but if the bike is already missing now and again, I would be tempted to strip and clean the carbs.
It would be worth cleaning the tank out as well.
