Years of experience and a quad vacuum gauge calibration tool. this is why even other machanics have their bikes sync'd and adjusted in the shop. also alot of carbs are slightly differnt, so if you really want someone to tell you how to do it you need to state what bike you have and what carbs it has in it, also jet settings and sizes would be helpfull.

Mikuni bs32ss doing a carb sync. Where to attach vacuum hose and which screw to adjust. Even the "manual" doesn't identify which screw or where to attach hose. Pictures would be nice. Thanks

Each carb has a small vacuum port on the side above the float bowl, you adjust the idle stop screw to set the tune and sync the carbs. Leave the air fuel mixture screws alone.

Would just like some reference points to go from on adjusting the throttle cable to sync carbs up really close

You do not adjust the throttle cable, you adjust the idle speed hard stop screws with a carburetor manometer hooked up to the vacuum sync port on each carb.

Adjust idle

Depends on the bike. If its carbureted then check the idle screws. If its a multi-cylinder motorcycle then you will need a carb sync tool as well to make sure each carb is flowing the same amount of air through it.

How do i adjust number 1 carb for cbr600 model 1989 when its not synchornized?

Hi
All carbs have to be synched together using vacuum gauges or manometer tubes
Often 1 carb is the control carb which cannot be adjusted, so adjust the others to the same as the control
But the early CBR600s has 4 carb sync take-offs 1 in each inlet tract, I know as I owned 1

How to adjust 2008 GSXR 600 Idle?

unless you have piped with atfermarket pipes it should not need done yet. Best way to control all timing and carb issues is with a power commander unit. Or have access to a durometer flow meter or Carb sync. This is not an EFI correct

What is the factory setting for the sync screws on carb for a 81 honda goldwing gl1100?

wanna say very nice bike.! as a rule, the settings start from full in, back out 1 1/2 turns. but that gets you in the ball park. what u really need is to have the vacuum mercury gauges hooked to each carburator to adjust them perfectly, as u do not want one cylinder to lag more then the rest. dont laugh but JC Whitney sells these reasonable and work great!!!! hope that helped you out !!

Cleaning Carb Jets

You shouldn't have to adjust anything as long as you don't increase the jet size and put everything back the same way it is removed.
