Loosen the band clamp on both ends of the carb, remove the throttle cables and the fuel lines, if its a cv carb, remove the vacuum lines, then wiggle the carbs out of the rubber boots they are in(airbox and intake boots) . if they are mounted to eachother do not disconnect them. thats all i can give you without knowing which bike you have.

I changed in line fuel filter on my 1965 ford galaxie and now wont start. I think air in fuel line, how to I remove?


HI try and prime carbarator with fuel this should boost delivery of fuel from tank, check if fuel level in carbarator maintains

My 1996 Chevrolet Blazer won't start most of the time. Engine don't turn over, or the starter when I turn the key. All I can hear is some clicking coming from the carbarator & a humming noise under my...


The humming noise you hear is the fuel pump. It is probably your starter soleniod. If you hear an electric click under the dash near the steering column when you turn the key then the ignition switch is ok and your starter needs to be replaced. This happened to me last month.

new carbs are expensive, don't even thik about a use one, find someone who has experience rebuilding carbs, usually an older mechanic like me, i figure around $350.00 , it should take a couple of days couse it should soak overnight in cleaner,

If it is carbarated, adjust the choke to run more richly.

replace fuel filter(s).....do you have dual tanks?
should be around 30 psi
