Remove your front fairing. to do this you remove the 3 w/shield screws, 2 screws approx 1/3 of the way down each side from the inside, then 2 screws on the bottom. if you look carefully beside the fork you will see them (they are a bugger) remove your fairing then you will see the wire to the headlight. Remove wire and then remove bulb.

Car turns off at stop sing or stop lights only at night with the head lights on.

turns off? what turns off HL or engine? try to be exact in statements of car systems. engine , lighting etc.
is the 87 engine still stock , most are not.
we run ours with webers. my boss runs Harely CV carbs.
is the cars Carb still a Suzuki stock carb>?
this very old car is usually never stock, as carb parts for this old dog
are near hens teeth available. so ??????
post a photo of engine and in 1second flat WE sell that that.

here is my guess.
the ENGINE RPM is way below 800 RPM'
if not the charge system is bad.
is the charge lamp on key on then off running?
also all old suzuki's love to stall with stuck open EGR valve
ever clean that valve?
or read the FSM

http://www.fixkick.com/sammi-stuff/index.html

btw lights turn off
engines stall.
engines crank ,start, run or stall. (these terms work best )
for clarity and context.

Where is the oil drain on 07 streetglide?

Although I'm not that familiar with the StreetGlide, I think it's a variant of the Road King. If the oil tank is on the bottom of the transmission, there will be two drain plugs on the bottom of the transmission. One in the middle of the tranny and on towards the front left side. The one on the front left side is the oil drain. The one in the center is the transmission oil drain.

If in doubt, loosen the plug just enough to allow a few drops to seep out and look at what comes out. It should be dark colored and not smell like gear oil. Capacity is probably four quarts 20W50 petroleum based or synthetic oil. The bike came from the factory with H-D Syn3 oil in it.

How do you adjust a headlamp on a streetglide? We took it out and can't get it back in.

There are three screws with springs attached, these are at 9-12-2 location . Screwing in top one raises & lowers the light beam. The side ones are for left or right adjustment. (Note the three holes on the chrome bezel below pic)

2007 flhx.

The GY/BK wires from the 04 passing lamps plug into a two hole connector from the main harness. the GY/BK wires from that connector become one GY/BK wire that goes to the passing lamp switch. The other wire from the passing lamp switch is Yellow and is spliced in to the Yellow wire that goes to the headlamp bulb. This is not a diagram, but it is pretty simple layout. Hope this helps.
