Go for the lower setting that may be about 1-2 amps.At this rate a completely dead battery will take about 8-9 hours. The slower rate wont let the battery get too hot.Hope this helps

My yamaha cygnus battery needs recharging everyday I have replaced the battery for the 3rd time in 6 months without success.Everything else seems to work just the battery issue any suggestions please

take it to a yamaha service center and have them check the voltage output of the charger system
if it chargers more than the 14.5 volts for a 12 volt battery or more than 8 volts for a 6 volt battery , that will explain the causes of rapid battery failure

Can a dead battery be recharged and how

If you have a capable battery charger, then a dead battery can be recharged. I would suggest recharging the battery to the proper voltage and then letting it set for 24 hours. In 24 hours check the battery for the correct voltage. If it maintains the charge, then you should be okay to reinstall the battery. If it does not, then you may have a dead cell in the battery and it would need to be replaced. Video about How to Test Battery

Cordless phone won't recharge

is it the charger or the batteries. you should be able to pick up a charger / power supply at most electrical outlets or eBay with correct voltage and amps out put. If you have a problem with the plug end of the charger you can cut and join to new one.

How to charge the battery for a 2008 Fatbob Harley davidson

Hi Anonymous, the best way to recharge a battery especially one that has very low voltage or is completely dead is with a low amp trickle charger. If you are in a deep sleep would your rather be awaken with soft gentle nudges or a swift kick in the rear. Have nice day

My fone dead put charger in does nothing dead dead dead

Nokia phones are notorious for slow response time when recharging from a completely dead battery.

Remove battery.
Make sure there is good contact between all of the contact points.
Replace battery.
plug in charger.
wait for at least 5 min.
If recharge symbol does not appear in window, then one of these things has occurred:
1. Phone has internal damage or water damage. no way to fix without nokia service.
2. Battery is dead. Try a new battery
3. Charger is bad. Try a new/different car charger or home charger.
These chargers are very inexpensive on Craigs List, try to solve it before throwing away the phone. Good luck,
A former Nokia employee.

Nikon Coolpix 5700 was working fine, now it won't turn on. Batteries are fine, but camera just won't power up at all. No error message, nothing but a dead (black) screen. No idea why it won't come on--it's...

Two quick suggestions first is the battery chamber contacts clean make sure they are clean. Are you using a battery pack with rechargeable AA's ? if so check the battery orientation it only takes one out of place. If you are using the rechargeable battery I know you said the batteries were fine but make sure the power is up on the rechargeable. I've had it where I put a battery on charge knowing it was pretty well dead came back 5 minutes later and the light was green, took the battery of the charger unplugged the charger plugged the charger back in and put the battery back on the charge. It then completed its true cycle.

I have a Yamaha Scorpio. My battery went flat so I took it off to recharge. Now I can't work out how to reconnect the leads - there is only a screw but it doesn't screw into anything

Hi, Adelle_howse you may have lost the nut inside the terminal for this scenario you will need your service/owners manual if you can't find the best tool you ever bought for your Yamaha, despair not, for a mere zero $0 you can download another one. I wonder if you attached the right voltage of charger.
Thats what I did. I put on a 9v dc charger
Now my v570 is dead......but ironically it will still charge a battery.
Now an expensive battery charger!

Try a standard multi voltage charger. These come with a selection of connectors each one of a specific size and color coded. so you pick the connector to fit the input jack then set the charger to the appropriate color to give the correct voltage.
