Hi
Remove nut from bottom. Remove/pull bolt from top. Remove old lever. Replace spacer/plunger from stock lever in the 2ND hole (the one that you're previously removed bolt DID NOT come from), this is to line up the pressure pins. Line up the lever. Replace the bolt and do a mock pull to make sure the lever is in place. You should feel pressure. Tighten everything up. repeat on next side! All you'll need it a ratchet, the right size socket.

2000 Honda, VFR 800. Clutch began to slip when in gear, sometimes worse than others. One time clutch would not engage at all, had to tow. At home with engine cool, clutch worked fine. Clutch springs?

Hi, Daniel and the usual suspects are:
1. Clutch controls improperly adjusted.
2. Insufficient clutch spring tension.
3. Friction discs or steel discs are worn or warped

2002 Honda VFR 800 changed the front and rear brake pads

Hi, Brett_gnenz no matter how many times you try to bleed a brake system you can end up with a spongy lever/pedal because there is always a handful of air bubbles that absolutely refuse to be evicted from an airline, depending on the angle of the dangle, using conventional bleeding methods. You have 2 options:
1. Back bleed hook up a vacuum pump at the caliper and suck out the trapped air bubbles.
2. Pressure bleed this requires special equipment that most reputable shops will have and is guaranteed to get all air out.
