You can check with your local dealer and see if they have a larger size. Then you can tap the hole in your oil pan for the larger sized plug. Just put some grease on the tap you use to catch most of the metal shavings. You can also rinse the tank with a can of mineral spririts once you've tapped the hole. If the Harley dealer doesn't have a larger plug, you might try an auto parts store.

If you an find nothing to suit your needs, you an always either buy a new oil pan or take yours off and have it welded up and retapped.

Good Luck
Steve

Where do I find the oil drain plug on a 1999 ultra classic

the oil drain plug for the motor oil is the one on the front of the oil pan that is under the transmission, it faces the front of the bike and is a 5/8 head. the one that faces down on the right side of the pan drains the transmission. the primary drain plug faces the left side under the derby cover,it is a #40 torqx wrench.

I need to know where the oil drain plug is on a 1999 FLH Ultra Classic Electra Glide Harley Davidson

The oil pan is on the bottom of the transmission. Look under the transmission and you'll see two drain plugs. The one closest to the front left corner is the engine oil drain. The one closest to the center is the transmission drain.

Engine oil plug

Another way to locate it, is with the bike on the kickstand, look underneath of it from the right (brake) side. The oil drain plug is on the front of the square looking pan under, and to the rear of the engine. The oil drain is the plug on the front of that pan, on the left (shifter) side of the bike. The trans drain is on that same square looking pan, but towards the right side, and faces down. It screws in and out vertically, whereas the oil drain is horizontal
