SOURCE: level of oil in front forks

not sure about newer models but the old models take 280 ml in each fork

SOURCE: Fork oil level: 2006 KDX 200

This all depends on what size forks you have, but a good rule of thumb is 120ml. After that then what you want to do is to ride the bike and make adjustments to your front end until your liking.

SOURCE: can i fix dented frame? where to find cheap parts?

If the dent is only a dent, yes you can fix it with body putty and paint. If the "dent" is really a bend that has put the frame out of alignment then, no you can't fix it > not properly anyway. It may be possible for a frame shop to straighten but you can probably get a good used frame for the same money.

Google " motorcycle salvage kawasaki ". You can probably find a frame there.

Please take a moment and rate this solution. Thanks djukome!

SOURCE: Fork oil capacity for a 2005 kawasaki vn1600 mean

Hi Des, Im am Irish too, howya doin? The oil you want is SAE 10W-20. and 445ml if you are changing the oil. It can be more accurately checked with the fork removed and fully compressed and the spring removed, the oil will be 120mm from the top ot the stanchion.
The manual will give you more info on this and any other future problems so here is a link to it. Good luck to ya, and please rate me if I've helped you. Thanks

Hi, Robert and the usual suspects are:
1. Clutch dragging slightly.
2. Primary chaincase overfilled with lubricant.
3. Corners wore off shifter clutch dogs.
4. Shifter return spring bent or broken.
5. Bent shifter rod.
6. Loose shift lever on shifter shaft.
7. Shifter forks sprung.
8. Shifter pawl needs adjusting.
9. Heel/toe shifter coming in contact with the floorboard.

Hi, can you tel me what size hex socket i need to remove the front wheel on my kawasaki zx6r g1

Something tells me you are trying to remove the axle by turning it out?? There is no pressure on the forks. The axle is locked on by 2 set screws or bolts on the bottom of the forks. If there is a nut on the axle, it is easily spun off with an adj wrench, pull out the bottom bolts, axle comes out. That is how most bikes are set up, Unless the kawasaki came up with something different. check it out.

Oil capacity for Kawasaki 1997 ZX6R? I would like to know the oil capacity for my 97 ZX6R. Ive googled it and haven't found anything conclusive. Thanks.

Depends if the oil and filter and oil cooler have been dismantled. If not and only the old oil has been drained it should be approx 4lr's, should state this under the oil filler as a guide. If its a complete strip down and rebuild your'll need at least 4.5ltr - 5ltr's so put in 4.5 and run for 5 mins, then check level
