A good 10 W 40 will do the trick. I use Castrol for 25 years and have been very pleased.- Les

Hi, Jason for this scenario you will need your service manual that has all fastener torque specs and a wiring diagram on the back pages, parts fiche, and owners manual if you can't find the best tool you ever bought for your Suzuki, despair not, for a mere zero $0 you can download another one.

How do I change front fork seals on 1998 suzuki savage

Have a 2006 suzuki s40 formerly known as the Savage 650 one cylinder. I ordered parts and tools to change front fork seals from Suzuki and its been 6 months they are on backorder. I decided to go another route since I need my bike running to and fro work. I went on ebay and bought good used forks from a parted out 06 that had really low miles. Put these on and all is great. The forks were $150.00 but that is not bad considering I did not have to buy fork oil, seals, tools for the job. Just had to put that on. Right now there is a set for a very reasonable price. Good thing about the s40's or savages plenty of good used parts to fix and they are easy to work on. I did it so anyone can. If you have any further questions on this Suzuki let me know.

How is the weight of engine Suzuki Freewind XF650

Use 10w40 motor oil in the gear box. Don't use any synthetic oils, oil marked "EC", or oil with "special" additives. Stick with the major brands; Pennzoil, Quaker State, Mobil or Shell. If in a hot area like Texas or New Mexico go with 20w50.

Bike wont stay running.

You will need to get a mechanical gauge to check for sure, but it sounds like your oil pump is not pumping enough pressure, or you have a big clearance somewhere in your motor that you are losing pressure at.
