What is the wire that runs from fan to fuse box?

Should be the power wire (Plus +). However, I have seen some wires go into a fusebox, and from there they are clearly connected to a ''ground'' _inside_ the fusebox. You really need a multimeter to be sure.

How to wire

Go to Autozone.com and register your vehicle for free. Then you can get free fusebox and wiring diagrams for your specific model. Another site, alldatadiy.com also has info.

If the fusebox is melted some Salvage yards have parts. Car-parts.com has a nationwide finder service.

Depending on what you are changing, remember Relays and use the correct gauge and color wire. If you are having to do this, then something did not break the current. Many fuseboxes will run wires only to the next connector, so you can get a Salvage fusebox to use as a new hub with connectors. Then leave the fuses and Relays intact and remove the old fusebox as a unit, slip in the new unit and reconnect the wire connectors. Much easier than a piecemeal patch.

I hope my solution is helpful.

2008 volvo c70 t5 cabin filter replacement

Right hand drive model isn't so easy ! 2008 model :-
remove centre panel behind radio (unclips) remove glove box lid and panel and then inner glovebox (unscrews and unclips) carefully unplug five wiring multiplugs from glove box etc.
undo and lower down fuse box, unclip all wiring multiplugs from top of fusebox, remove fusebox bracket from bulkhead (2 x 13mm nuts) push fusebox down out of the way.
pull carpet away from side of centre console and remove two small (7mm head) black self tapping bolts from cabin/pollen filter cover and slide out filter.
Reverse process to rebuild !

Park lights will not shut off on 2001 Ford Taurus. Have to disconnect the battery. Have replaced the light switch but still have same problem.

That is probably a contact somewhere on lights wiring. You find the contact testing wiring from switch to back of the fusebox, and from fusebox to bulb with fuse removed. You test wies using a voltmeter.

The heater fan has no power at the fans green wire all fuses good and switch seems fine.fan works when jumpedwith 12 volts

I would guess your not getting voltage to the switch or there may be a break in the wire, test the incoming wire with a trouble light or meter. If no voltage there, check the switch. troubleshoot all the way back to the fusebox.
