I have purchase a new pulsar bike in 2015,october. and also 1st free service was done in 600 km. now i reached 3425 km. i am having problem .. oil leak in engine head. what happen ?

I presume if you bought it new in Oct 2015 it is still covered under some form of new vehicle manufacturer warranty. Check the terms of your manufacturer warranty and take it back to the bike dealer service and have the problem fixed under manufacturer warranty.

My pulsar 220 dts-i is not speeding.

It's an engine safety mechanism, to shut down the engine when rpm goes beyond 10K.Even you are travelling at 140Kmps rpm won't reach 10K in normal case.Probably you have to change vacuum piston kit to resolve the issue completely.

Oil change intervals for motorcycles depend a great deal on your riding conditions and riding style. For lower-revving street bikes, I often change my oil about every 2000 miles (~3200 km). However, someone with a sport bike who regularly revs their engine closer to the redline, I would suggest a more frequent change interval. Off-road / dirt bikes should have their oil changed sooner because of the dusty conditions. The oil is still full of lubricants, but it is contaminated with dust and dirt that clogs the filter and eventually goes right into the engine, increasing wear. I can't offer much guidance for dirt bike oil change intervals.

I've taken my eton matrix 150cc (2009) to the dealer twice in the last two months for repairs. The bike has lost most of its power, it doesn't pick up and go like it use to. I can only reach top...

sounds like the spark plug is breaking down under pressure have you replaced it with a new one?
also check you have good compression when you remove the plug put your finger over the hole in the engine head and try and start the bike your finger should be pulled into the bike slightly then will be a slight sucking noise if it isnt then it would be worth taking of the head and checking the piston rings

hope this helps

Engine Monotonous sound from new yamaha gladiator ss 125cc

The sound is being caused by something mechanical. It is not likely to go away by it's self. It will probably get worse. Don't wait for the next service. Take it in now before any more potential damage can be done. Check the oil level in the gearbox. It could be low.

Service details for a suzuki gsx1400 oilcooled engine

I think you mean a VS1400 or a VS1400GLP. I don't think there is a GSX1400. Go to the site below where you can see a parts diagram for your specific bike. You will select the actual brand, year, model, etc., once you go to the site. Part numbers and prices are also shown. You can order parts from this site. In the event no price is shown on a particular part, the part is not in stock. www.babbittsonline.com/pages/parts/viewbybrandand/parts.aspx

First, check and , if needed, change the spark plug(s), and oil. Always use the stock spark plug for your particular bike. Use 10w40 motor oil in the gear box. Don't use any synthetic oils, oil marked "EC", or oil with "special" additives. Change the oil filter if your bike has one. Changing the oil acts as the "filter" in bikes that don’t have an actual filter. Lubricate the chain. Lubricate the control cables with liquid graphite, ( Lock Eze ). Make sure the tires have adequate pressure. Check the spokes and snug up any that are lose. Aim the headlight and check all functions of the bike, kill switches, brakes, etc.

How about a top rating on this solution? Thanks!

CBR 1000 MECHANICAL PROBLEM

Hi,
First you must check if your oil lamp is working. Normally after you start your machine and it reaches the minimum pressure above 1 psi, the oil lamp Will light off.
So if you had a problem with your oil pump and it burned you’ll not have information about your lubrication system.
I think you have a problem with your oil pump.
When you open your motor check the color of the pieces when they are blue means that they work with high temperature.
This machine is a good one and if you drive normally it won’t fail.
Please check this and let me know.

Noisy 5th gear

but no there was definitely a loud whirring noise in 5th gear sort of like a very noisy bearing. The bike still ran in 5th but it was definately becomming increasingly noisy. When I changed down to 4th the noise went away even if I slowed to the rev range I had been cruising in 5th. Same story with the other gears, but the noise returned with a vengence in 5th. Needless to say I rode the rest of the way home in avoiding 5th. Any ideas? I suppose I'm looking at a gearbox strip? Could the noise be anything else? ,Had a similar issue with my 1000S, only 5th gear was noisy - a sound like a dry bearing -other gears were silent. Bike had done 70,000kms and serviced correctly. Had Barry from IME check it out. Turned out to be both 5th gears needed replacing - looked like the case hardening on the gear faces was eroding and pitting. New gears went in and the box properly shimmed and happy to say 6000 kms later all still silent in the gearbox department. Plus the added benefit of slicker gear changes.,,,
