On a lot ofimport 4 cylinder engines the water pump is built in behind the timing cover , when the pump goes bad they are designed to leak antifreeze from a drain hole. hope this helps

I just bought a 1994 suzuki RF900, i was told that the previous owner purposfully drained the oil to have some minor damage looked at. So, naturally I tried putting oil in her and it all leaked out th

It does appear to me that the crankcase must be holed somewhere. That is the moist likely reason the previous owner drained it (or rather it all ran out). I would have a good visual look at the crank case to see if there is an obvious hole. If it is damaged then it would obviously need a new crank case but first, take the fairing off and have a look.

Oil in coolant

Sounds like an intake gasket leak. Oil can leak into the cooling system without coolant leaking into the oil.

Why my oldsmobile alero 1999 wont keep water in

CHECK FOR COOLANT LEAKS AROUND THE RADIATOR LOOK DOWN BETWEEN COOLING FANS AND RADIATOR SIDES FOR SIGNS OF ANTIFREEZE.CHECK ALL RADIATORS HOSES AND HEATER HOSES.IF ALL LOOK GOOD CHECK ENGINE OIL FOR COOLANT LEAKS.IF OIL LOOKS LIKE MILK SHAKE COOLANT LEAKING IN CRANK CASE.YOU HAVE A HEAD GASKET LEAK.YOU NEED TO CHANGE OIL + FILTER. GET THE HEAD GASKET FIX.BECAUSE LEAK IN THE CRANK CASE WILL LOCK UP THE ENGINE.IF CRANK CASE OIL LOOKS OKAY.YOU DONT HAVE THE COOLANT CORRECT MIXTURE.YOU SHOULD HAVE 50/50 ANTIFREEZE AND WATER.

Water leaking from under car, mostly coming from right side toward back of engine. Had radiator replaced along with thermostat and hoses. Is thermostat cover bad?

IT SOUNDS LIKE WHT IS CALLED I FREEZE PLUG THERE PUT IN THE SIDES OF THE BLOCK IN CASE THE ENGINE FREEZES THEY WILL POP OUT SO THE BLOCK WON;T CRACK SOMETIMES THEY WILL RUST OUT YOU SAY YOU NEEDED TO REPLACE RADIATOR SO YOU HAD A COOLEINT ISSUE BUT CHECK TO SEE IF COOLEINT IS LEAKING AT HOSES OR GASKETS START ON TOP OF THE ENGINE THE PLUG IT SELF IS VARY INEXPENSIVE AND FARILY EASY TO INSTALL BUT CAN SOMETIMES BE A BIT TRICKY TO GET AT
