Yes, it is mounted on top and inside the fuel tank. Look for an access panel above the fuel pump inside the vehicle. If there is none then you will have to remove the fuel tank in order to replace the fuel pump. Make sure to install a new fuel filter if applicable. Before removing the fuel pump, replace the filter, check the fuse, and fuel pump relay. You can hear the pump run for a few seconds after turning on the key without starting the engine. Open the fuel filler door and remove the fuel cap. Have someone turn no the ignition, and listen for the pump. Even if you hear it run that does not mean it is ok. It may be very weak.
