After refiling a spa, typicall the water is below 50 degrees F. Spas have a freeze protection in their programming so that when the water is that cold, the pumps run constantly to keep it from freezing. It will correct itself

We have a brand new Oasis Mohave spa and we wanted to run through a full cycle so we ran the tub for a week, no problems. then we drained and refilled the tub. Now we get dr or dy as error codes on the...

The dr error code is for "dry". Meaning that the control system is not sensing that water is flowing through the heating element.

With a new spa, and you just having drained it , it is probably an air locked pump.
What this means is that you have a small constant circulation pump with not much power, that got ait trapped in it when you drained. When you went to start back up, this "air lock" prevented the pump from fully priming.
Power down the spa at the breaker. Remove the filter element.Stick a garden hose with lots of pressure into the skimmer hole and open the hose valve to let water inject into the skimmer.
Restore power to the spa and check operation.
If after attempting this a few times you still get the code, there is an issue with your flowswitch, or with your circulation pump.
With a brand new spa, id like to hope that you just have an air lock.

Good luck

I have a cyote spa hl code is on..and temp is cool at 96 ,,i unplugged for 10 min,,reset the f cycle from 6 to 4 ,,,,,nothing,,

This probably means the the circulation pump is failing. It sounds like the temp sensor is good, but the high limit sensor is either bad or really reading a high limit. This is very typical of a small undersized circulation pump that is starting to fail.

Water temp. reading isn't the the same as the actual water temp. hot tub says heater dry

If you have drained the spa latly and refilled you could have an air lock keeping the heater dry. Simpley find the drain valve under the spa and open it till it run's water. This should help the problem by letting the pressure even in the pipeing and flooding. Good luck.

1993 QCA Dream Master spa. Worked fine when drained last fall. Winterized with RV antifreeze. Just filled it and nothing happens. Heater light on solid for 30 seconds then starts flashing. Any ideas?

You probally have an air lock. All you need to do is find the drain valve and open it long enough to get water running full. This will flood the pipes and the spa should start. Good luck.

What does FL mean on my hot tub?? water doesnt circulate but is still sort of warm...

FL could be a code for low flow. If you have no circulation this sounds like it. If your pump runs and you have no flow you could have a problem with your pump. Or if you have the tub drained then it could be an air lock, if you open the drain valve till you get water out that should fix that. Also check to be sure the isolation valves are open under the spa. I hope this helps.

Flahes from FL to the temperature (13) after refiling. Temperature level will also not increase.

FL is usually a flow sensor/switch fault. If you have just filled the tub, the pump may not be properly primed. The best thing is to fill the tub through the skimmer when you first start filling it, that ensures the pump is filled with water and is not air locked. You may have to force water into the skimmer to push the air out of the line or loosen a union on the discharge side of the pump to get it primed. FL will not let heater run because it thinks that there is no flow.

2005 beachcomber is saying FL

Its an error code for insufficient flow. Try cleaning your filter(s) and turn off the breaker for 5 min. If that does not fix it, you may have a bad flow switch. Hope this helps.

GFCI alarm stays on

Open your drain valve under the unit to break any air lock that will have gotten there when you drained the tub.
