1974 flh skipping when under load. changed points/condencer/coil/ignition switch and ajusted s&s super e carb to recomended settings.

Check for the correct dwell on your points and for any vacuum leaks. Also, check the resistance on your plug wires, replace if needed.
I hope this helps.

No spark at plug

Well, the next step is to access the points, you need a puller to remove the flywheel, and then replace the points and condencer, adjust them and lube the rubing block, reassemble and try again.

THIS presumes that you already inspected shut off grounding system....

1977 suzuki a50p no spark new points condencer prime coil ignition coil and plug help

Try reinstalling the points . It is real easy to have them short. Some times it takes two or three tries to get points in correctly (so they don't ground out).

I have a RT1 Yamaha 360 that appears to be a hybrid between a 71 and 72-23. VIN is RT1-20289. I can't seem to find anywhere that will tell me what year the VIN translates to.

Get an id puller, take off the flywheal, check the key and keyways.Check the condencer and points, make sure the points move freely and are not worn
off. cost you $20, off ebay often less, to get both points and condence, wich should give you good spark.

Its a sigma 81 im not getting power to the distributor, the wires that go to it are dead

What is it a 2003 or a 1981 as 2003 dont have a distributor,,and a distributor on a 81 has but the wires are only live when the battery power is turned on and that is power to 1 side of coil (pos)side only and when contact points are open then power is on both sides of coil,, and condencer and point will spark when points are opened also check,HT leads
condencer,,Points gap of 12thou, (Let me know how you go) Ron
