Replacing the bearings is not a big job if you think it is a bearing. Or is it the tire? When I got a new bike, I couldn't believe how much noise came from the front tire, I even complained at the dealer's, I got used to it. Just a different bike. But check out the bearings. You don't want them smoking on you. Hope this helps.

Hi i have 2015 gsx 1250 fa ride it to work and back about 30 km, took a 140 km drive and parked after 4 hrs bike was dead not enough power to start. Jump start it and it is starting now Steven.

Check for parisitic drain of battery. Turn of key and accessories. Disconnect battery ground and connect test light between battery ground and disconnected wire. If test light illuminates you have parisitic drain. Remove fuses one at a time, when light goes out you have found the faulty circuit.

Whirling noise on start up and constant tinkling

Okay, think after process of elimination I now know what the offending part is. It seems that the Starter Pinion is not disengaging fully, and rattles about. So will replace this, finders crossed this solves the issue.
