SOURCE: suzuki gsxr 750 does not start sparks batt ok,

Hi and welcome to FixYa,

Initially, perform below tests:

  • remove all the plugs and spray starting fluid (or fuel) on all cylinders. Return the plugs and try again. If it fires even just a few times, then fuel is not entering the combustion chamber;
  • loosen/remove the drain screw at the bottom of the bowls. Check for the presence of fuel (and also determine if there are sediments, rust or foreign matter). If there is no or little fuel, then fuel is not entering the carbs;
  • if your fuel control/valve has provision, turn it to PRI. With the drain plugs still loosened or removed, fuel should flow out of the drain hoses (pls ensure that it is properly channel to a catch/holder and ensure other safe condition/practice).
At this point, you may want to check fuel delivery from the tank down to the carbs.

Good luck and thank you for using FixYa.

SOURCE: how to change spark plug on gsx 750 f 2000

first you mut remove the seat, next the fuel tank. after those have been removed you need to take out the air box. disconnect plug wires and pull out coil ( do one at a time to reduce confusion)

SOURCE: 99 gsxr 750 losing power after 10k rpm if you have

The carburetor jets, there are 3 bands; A low, mid range and high range rpms. 10k would fall in the Mid range power. I would let the bike warm up a little bit and tweak the middle knob on the left side of the bike and keep in mind you need the right mixture so turn it quarter turn one way at a time per testing the mid range rpms while riding, tweaking 1/4 turns in between tests. If it gets worse, turn it the other direction until you find that sweet spot in the mixture of fuel/oxygen. Have you taken off the fairings?

Look on the valve cover for ignition wires and under them should be your plugs

I have a 94 gsxr 750. It has been running bad so my buddy had me spry water on the heade and cylinder # 4 is not fireing? any idea wht that means?

Check for spark on no4 plug...also check wether the plug is wet or dry when you remove it.
Dry and sparking means carb jets are blocked...
Wet and no spark means ht lead/plug cap or plug problem...change plug/unscrew cap from lead/cut a 1/4 inch off the lead and re-attatch.

My suzuki gsxr 750 sat all winter and i didnt winterize it at all. the battery died... i charged it and my bike just wont start. It cranks over just won.t start. What should i do?

check spark plugs,check for spark. check fuel is good. possible needle and seat gummed up in carb float bowl. disasemble and clean with brake or carb cleaner.do not change float level. re assemble ,you can use the cleaner to help to fire the motor with a shot through the carb. make sure you cleaner says flammable. good luck.

I rebuilt my motor on my 2002 gsxr 750 over the winter last saturday i took it out and ran fine let it sit over night and in morning wouldnt stay running and back firing and shooting flame out exhaust

Most likely cause is a fouled spark plug. Engines fresh out of overhaul often have this happen as engine oil gets past piston rings that haven't seated in yet.

Remove the spark plugs, clean or replace them. Also check for cracked, damaged, or dirty spark plug caps. This can also cause misfiring and flames shooting from the exhaust.

07 gsxr 750 backseat won't unlock

When this happened with my bike, I took a large gem clip, straightened it out, and then put a 90 degree bend about 1/4" from one end. I could insert the end with the bend under the seat and use it to grab the release mechanism and pull it so the rear seat released. Then I was able to connect the cable from the latch/lock correctly to avoid the same prob when the seat was reattached.

Hello i have a 01 gsxr 750 and it does not seem to fire on 1&2

You have two coils on the bike. I would start by checking the coil for the non working cylinders. Trace the spark plug wires back to the coil from cylinders 1 & 2.

90 gsxr 750 wont start, Exhaust seals?

the exhaust gaskets really should have nothing to do with whether your engine will not start. However I assume that by not starting it is turning over smoothly like it should when you try to start, having covered that most motors will not start because no fuel, no spark, or no air not withstanding some major mechanical failure in the valve train or timing or piston, cranks et al..
Trying checking for the obvious first fuel, spark, air flow. then go from there hope this helps
