The oil pan is on the bottom of the transmission. More than likely, you just cracked the oil pan. However, depending on how hard the bike bottomed out and where it hit, you could have some transmission damage. Hopefully not. See if this will help.

1993 MARK VIII HAVE OIL OR TRANS LEAK ? MINUTE I START CAR, DRIVERS SIDE. HAVE TO SHUT IT OFF. LEAKS BAD. CANT SEE WHERE ITS COMING FROM ANY IDEAS

Would recommend to steam clean complete engine compartment, to include the bottom.

Next, top your fluids and place clean towels or rags. Start your car until leak is present. With flash light Che k where from. If fluid is redesh in color, it's transmission fluid. If it's dark brown or black, engine oil.

Check bottom of oil and transmission pans for possible cracks or damage.

My toro 6.5 hp leaks oil at the bottom of the engine runs ok

If this is the vertical shaft motor, there is a seal at the bottom where the crank shaft exits the case. On the vertical motors I've taken apart, the bottom of the case is like an oil pan. It is possible that you could have a crack in the case. But also check the oil drain plug to be tight, but not too tight. This could also cause a crack in the motor case.

98 isuzu trooper leaks a/t fluid

No, but take rags and wipe off all the oil. Leave the skid plates off for the time being. Use jack stands or blocks to raise car so you can be under it. You need to run the engine so the transmission pump is working, then you will probably see where the oil is leaking from-possibly the pan gasket, maybe that component on the oil pan, or check if it is coming from higher up and collecting on the pan. Hope you find it. Pan gaskets are very easy to change. But you will have to replace the transmission fluid, as about 6-8 quarts will drain when you remove the pan. If you have to change the gasket, might as well change the transm. fluid filter as well-it's right underneath the pan, in most cases.

Oil leakage by the transmission &engine

Need to inspect closer and make sure the exact place the oil is coming from....Most common places that leak are around valve pan cover which is located on top of motor and in alot of cases can run down back of motor onto transmission or bottom or motor. Another place is the oil pan which is located on bottom of motor. If leaking from either of these you would need to replace the gaskets. Two other places that are common for leaks is the front and rear seals in the motor. Try cleaning bottom half of motor off with a degreaser in the area where you see yhe oil dripping and then you should be able to see exactly where it is coming from. If the leak is underneath where the transmission is bolted to the motor this would indicate that the rear seal is bad. To replace it you will have to take transmission out to do this and if this is the case and your truck has a automatic transmission have that seal replaced also. Yhe reason for this is if you have to take transmission out then you may as well change transmission seal also but remember only if the transmission is a automatic.....hope this helps and good luck....Please rate this post...

Where is the drain plug on a 2003 chevy blazer

The oil drain plug is located on the bottom of the oil pan.
The radiator drain is on the bottom passangers side of the radiator.
The transmission drain plug is in the trans oil pan , or you may have to drain by releasing the tension on the pan bolts... in which case you will likely need to replace the transmission pan gasket to reseal it.
