Question about 2003 Yamaha YZ 125
Start at the top of the motor and remove anny guards and so on then there are 4-6 head bolts remove them then remove the transmission and all that. remove the starter and stator and internal coils then you can split the base

Check out this schematic. Look at #26 and #31 line items. The bearings requires crankcase split, but seal does not.
