Shock repair

Hi, Anonymous for this situation I would call my local dealer or reputable shop's service/parts department and inquire about any possible quick fix, answers, or parts inquiry. If necessary transport your vehicle to the dealer or shop and have a professional technician take it for a test drive, if it is in running condition, and give you a written estimate of repairs and answer any specific questions you may have about your issue. Pulsar 150 DTSi rear shock absorber gas pressure is low. How to fill the gas into shock absorber and how much pressure of gas to be fill into it?........ and normal AIR can fill into shock absorber...

The new Pulsar 150 has RSA with Coil Springs and Suspension Fluid. If the Springs are fine, then get the shocks filled with equal amounts of Fluid at major Service Centers (Few workshops have it).
Else, if the Springs are weak, they can be adjusted by Local Shock Absorber Repairers (Dealers do not suggest it and do not have any mecanism to do it).
If neither of the above works, you have to finally change to a new Set of Rear Shock Absorbers...

2000 x1 buell lowering rear susspension

There is one lowering shock out there for the pre 2002 buell tube bikes but it drops the bike 1" and that's it. It is VERY hard to lower these bikes.

Want to lower ride height

You can't. There is a normal height shock and the 1 inch lower one. They don't make lowering kits for the 2002 and older buells.

2008 rear shock won't dial in to a firm ride as it use to. It only goes up and down freely with weight and not just at impact. what needs to be done?

I would highly suggest you take the bike and shock into your local bike shop to have the diagnosis the problem. Other than suggesting checking the air pressure if your shock has an air valve, there are far too many potential problems to go through in this format.

From your description it sounds like a shock with no air pressure, but...

Air Shocks

There is a shock pump tool you can buy either at a bicycle shop or online that will let you add air to your shock or fork. Make sure you research your model's specified volume/pressure before you go for it so you do not damage anything.

They had a recall on the shocks on those bikes.  They changed the shock and the bracket.  It depends on if your bike has been updated or not.  Also not all the shocks interchange.  The dealer can run your vin to tell you if the update has been done.,

Gas or Oil shock & Struts

pressurized fluid or gas is one in the same, gas shocks give a harsh ride but better handling, standard shocks are not pressurized they are just a simple hydraulic dampener, when you go over a bump fluid is pulled back and forth through a fixed orfice, this stops spring oscillations in the suspension.
